@ilikebanana your entry has been added, good luck buddy.

@jayshizzo if you mean using dyom Red for this mission its invalid, only DYOM 8.1 is allowed to use for making motw missions, but if it doesn't affect and you can play it on 8.1 i will allow it.

@xKadiRX your entry is added, good luck my friend

Edit: Deadline has been extended for more incoming entries.

it is compatible in dyom 8.1. its more challenging to play in 9.0 /red because of the new features added

I understand mate

But according to rules, DYOM 8.1 is only allowed to use in MOTW, nonetheless I will allow you to do that because probably you didn't know about it.

Hope you get it without any offense from me 🙏🙂

Edit: you can also use DYOM# addon for your missions, it has some nice experience on making missions besides adding more objects that is not included in DYOM 8.1, and it can be played on DYOM 8.1.

I was forced to play more than half of these missions, was gonna play NFS Most Wanted but i guess @Kingheights had other plans for me, f***! I'll review only the ones i played.

Review:

Eliminate Eli - Good use of Scare-O-Meter, pretty easy mission but no ending cutscene. 5/10
Last Wish - Excellent scenario, good use of SD, Perfect ammount of challenge, good story, ambigious ending (could've at least put the guy getting the money or something like that) but at least it's cinematic, i have to give props for the effort. 8.5/10
Bounty Hunt - Mission way too easy (bounty hunters have headshot on), confusing story (who the hell is Kadir, an police officer or a civilian doing bounty hunting? Who are these people who praise him?), unnecessary going home objective, could've gone more in-depth with the theme. 4/10
The Uncertainty Principle - Story hits as hard as Last Wish, maybe even more with it's subjects of family stuff, however, there aren't enoughs pickups in the shootout to balance out the enemies with SMGS, Shotguns and etc..., the starting position is awful, and that's pretty much my issues with it, difficulty is very hard (gave me flashbacks to Rebound). 50% Story 50% Gameplay, pretty well split. 8/10

The Uncertainty Principle vs Last Wish

The Uncertainty Principle has the better Story with family matters, the problematic brother, the hospital bills and stuff like that.
Last Wish has the better gameplay and mechanics (having to kill an cock-a-doodle-do employee to rob his disguise and get into the party is pretty clever), with it's cool shootouts.

I don't know what to choose... Story or Gameplay???
Although the story makes the player strive to keep going, a good gameplay keeps the player engaged and entertained, it's heartbreaking how i can't vote these two but i'll have to give my vote to Last Wish.

Hope you are happy claudolas, now i can't play NFSMW anymore and i have to sleep because of my headache.

UPDATE:

Looks like it was too late for me, The Uncertainty Principle already won. I'm happy for @mrfanboy as the mission's story was pretty good, looks like Story always beats Gameplay regardless if DYOM or not.

With that logic, A Visual Novel supposed to be objectively superior to Open World even though Open World games can have both gameplay and story with gameplay being compulsory while Visual Novel games can just have story since that element is all that matters for that particular genre.

It's because the story drives the player to keep going regardless if the gameplay sucks ass or not, if a story sucks just like everything else in the game, it's pretty much done for and there's no reason to keep going other than to fulfill a review quota or out of obligation for a friend or not, i'm not saying Visual Novels are vastly superior, i just meant that in terms of games in general that aren't visual novels.

Pong is one of the first video games ever made and it has no story yet its gameplay was fun for its time. Most Tetris games have no story yet it's still a relevant game series from back then up until now.

Burnout 3 is a fun racing game because it is a generic racing game but seasoned with crash elements that can turn the tide of a race event. Bumping opponents' cars is a double edged sword that can either help you take the lead or screw you over. The game also has a crash mode to take a break from the usual adrenaline pumping race events.

You can't just say story always beats gameplay when story wasn't implemented in games until arcade era and that not every game that has no story let alone the ones that have bad ones are bad.

You're right but then again you have to take into account that the story was only one of the vital points after or during the SNES generation and forwards. Arcade games are not meant to have a story and just simply focus on the gameplay. Stop trying to use my words against me, i meant that the story is a focal point nowadays, and if the game nails it but still has a sh*tty gameplay, then it can save the game, due to the drive of making the player try to find out what happens in the end. Regardless if it's open world or not, in no way, shape or form i tried to say Arcade games suck, visual novel better. One of my favorite games is FlatOut and it barely has story, it's an arcade racer with realism elements mixed in.

Let's just stop this side talk and let's just say congrats to Misterfanboy, i don't see how this argument is related to this MOTW in any shape or form apart from my personal take, if you want to keep these shenanigans going, create an alternate topic.
