GTA III title credits look pixelated when playing in any resolution apart from 640x480

I'm unable to take a screenshot (when I try, the screenshot is just black) but I might be able to point out more things that I noticed

It only happens when when the game resolution is set to 32 bits, when I set it to 16 bits the problem is gone, that applies to all resolutions higher than 640x480

for example, the problem is there when I play in 1600x1200x32 but when I set to 1600x1200x16 it plays normal
