how would i properly display a showing of a vehicle audio edit?

in my free time, i like to mess with the audio settings for cars in FLA primarily for add-on cars. i'd like to share my results, but in my first video, it demonstrates an edited version of a code already made by another user from their car mod. of course i would provide credit and sources and not claim anything entirely as my own. i am addressing this for clarity, perhaps advice, and to avoid posting in the wrong topic, or be considered to some extent a thief of someone else's work. it is topical to the base game of GTA IV. i already have a thread on the code and its functions for GTA IV here.

where and how would i post the video, and would it be best if i request permission from the mod creator?
