Some help with modding

I want the GPS mod DK22Pac used in his GTA 5 hud mod, but I want it as a seperate mod. The other GPS mod made by DK22Pac is glitchy and randomly stops showing the route, and doesn't show the root it hilly areas, whereas GTA 5 hud mod's GPS is perfect in every way. Please someone help me with this. Also I am talking about SA:MP.
