Does wheel type matter?

I was wondering. Is it just for show, or does it actually have an effect?

 

I have that nightclub small delivery van. I put sports wheels on it. It slides all over. Then yesterday I drove a friend’s delivery vehicle. Same car, but he didn’t pimp it at all. Much better experience.

Possibly. Different wheels come with different tyre compounds. I have offroad on mine.

There's no difference between wheels except if you use curb boost.

If you use curb boost, then offroad wheels are definitely the best (and the ugliest)

This isn't exactly true, although you'd have to be really attentive to know how they're different.

@Gaffa, thanks, did not know such a doc existed; haven't really paid attention to car tuning since a long time tho

I'm now wondering if same detailled differences exist for motorcycles wheels

Back some 4 or 5 years ago, there were some heist speed runners pretending Bobber wheels were the "best" for Hakuchou Drag, pretending handling was better iirc.
