There's also another moment in GTA III when I triggered the "explode all vehicles" cheat mid-mission (I forgot which mission to be exact) and suddenly the mission completed eventhough I was also killed the same time. First time finding a shark or cement shoes guys in Vice City First time discovering hidden interiors in San Andreas via the gym, felt like breaking the game, its boundaries and a behind the scenes insight into how they divided the games assets. Being told we have to kill Avery Finding out there's an obtainable Hunter in Karmageddon that nobody noticed for over 10 years. Michelle turning out to be an agent and Eddie Low in general. Johnny, Terry, Clay and The Lost getting shat all over in GTA V (why? should've just used the AOD). They looked like some sort of cultists, maybe members of the Altruist Cult, and it really caught me off guard like "What the f*ck is wrong with these guys", you know? In GTA IV, well, Eddie Low of course. No explanation needed there. Also that "Little Lacy Surprise" radio commercial in VCS. Not gonna lie, it made me really uncomfortable hearing that sh*t. It all happened so fast I didn't realise what I did and it quickly filled me with immense joy afterwards. During the mission I wasn't really thinking about what he was doing and was just focusing on the tasks at hand, that was brutal and caught me off guard (and Michael too) In IV when you meet Jeff in the parking garage, find out he's killed his wife and see her body shoved in the back of a Blista Compact In Vice City the first time I did the outdoor bike time trial and slowed down on that one corner and suddenly a bunch of Haitians ran up and started hacking me with machetes. By far the biggest jump scare I've had playing GTA since it's so completely unexpected in the middle of a peaceful bike time trial (which is also in an area far away from any gangs). This is the number one WTF I think, I wonder what joker put that in there. From flying planes to blowing them up and then jumping out, from stealing a $60 mil' jetpack to fetching the jar of green goo off a moving train... All fukken cringe. 3. Special mention to the "Freefall" mission in SA. It's literally over-the-top (jumping between two airborne planes, sheesh...), way too cheesy (even when thinking on paper, dammit R*!) and extremely cringe difficulty balance. 4. And then there's the "Key to Her Heart" mission, also in SA... It could've been just a simple "Snail Trail"-like follow-this-character mission with a "Home Invasion"-style burglary for the keycard at the end, but no, R* had to turn it into a literal cringey f*ckfest SMH. Just why... 5. Luis being "hyper-interactive" with women for pretty much the entirety of TBoGT (saw it on YouTube). I know that's how his character is supposed to be but then it gets real cringe very quick. Like hey whoa, calm down... It kinda feels like a constant reminder from R* that Luis is not Gay Tony. 6. The cake box scene from TBoGT everyone is talking about above. Saw it on YouTube, and mang... O_O 7. Pretty much the same for the phone explosion scene at the end of "Friend Request" in V. Again, saw it on YouTube and it certainly was pretty unexpected lol. That mission feels so dumb and out-of-context it feels like R* designed the Hydra plane first, along with it's spawn cheat JUMPJET etc. and all that stuff, and then forcefed it's appearance to the player by deliberately adding it to the storyline. Not to mention how CJ acts like a whiny little biatch at the end of the mission... cringe. Donald Lov Posted October 10 Share Posted October 10 LCS's story is pretty much just one big WTF moment, particularly the scene where you dismember a sexually perverted butcher and then deliver what's left of him back to his own deli. The mission where you demolish an entire district for Donald Love also immediately comes to mind. Then, there is this weird mission where you drive a firetruck around causing as much mayhem as possible for practically no reason. Then, there is this repulsive, disgusting atrocity J.D. O'Toole, probably the biggest pervert in the series. It's f*cking weird how the game is just filled with ugliness and degeneration, and how casually stuff like this is presented in it. What the hell were they on while writing and greenlighting all this mess? A cool WTF moment was in Gay Tony when I got wasted in Maisonette 9 and woke up inside the Statue of Liberty(the beating heart easter egg) for the first time.
