Was there any GTA V beta / alpha / early screenshots ?

We all know RDR2 had a map one, and GTA VI ... well, let's not talk about it 😁


I was wondering if people did in fact find any content before the game release?

(I hope this post isn't against the rules though..)

Discussion is not against the rules (just linking or showing media of current leaks are) and I'm no expert on alpha/beta stuff of GTA V but I think this thread will help.

All I do know is that some people have told me about alpha where they saw GTA IV NPCs behavior in V alpha but when the game was launched the IV AI behavior was not seen in the V NPCs. I only heard this because people were using this memory as an example of how leak does not represent the final release of GTA 6. I do not know which video they were refering to but it is interesting.

There was actually a leaked photo of the yellow submarine back in May 2013, couple of months prior to the release.

That is one mysterious screenshot, I remember when it was first posted on the forums.

 

It also looked like it wasn't from the console version of the game which was the only version announced at the time.

I think someone leaked summat about the Hood Safari mission & the fact it had a different name

2soePIJ.jpeg reminds me of Chinatown Wars. Shame V didn't get a hand-held spinoff like it

It's not really a beta thing but from this video which uses the words of Leslie Benzies

"you can expect to see dogs guarding areas and causing problems for the player when they try to sneak past them" (00:23) 

 

I think we've never had missions where dogs guarding areas
