Again we can't verify if that was him in the telegram. His account on here hasn't been used since Sunday. The person on Telegram was asked to log in here as proof it was really him and never did and banned anyone questioning him.

oh yeah, haha, it was a bit far fetched but you never know, especially in the uk, people are really intrusive and nosey sometimes.

The kid has almost no real consequences to worry about. He’s a minor with a mental disorder. He’s not going to prison at all. That’s just not going to happen. His parents or caretakers will likely be hit with fines and restitution, but after watching TGG’s video where he claims the kid will be facing “life in prison”() I just felt the need to point this out.

i mean just last week i saw a special needs kid have the police called on him for sitting at a bus stop for about an hour. that’s where the thought actually came from.

I mean how many chances does he get though? I know the UK and Europe are generally more lenient with these kind of situations but he clearly doesn't care about consequences.  Unless he's just being exploited to take the heat by other people, but I doubt it.

Kids on their own will draw attention, sure, but people in their later tees not always. I think you potentially vast over estimate how visible an autistic person is anywho, I don't know where he is on the scale (again, even if he is autistic) but him being socially awkward doesn't mean he's visibly awkward or anything like that.

 

Not to mention this whole image of him being on the run and hiding out in internet cafes and stuff is a bit... 2000's hacker films, lol.

Question is, why TF is he allowed to go on the computer unsupervised after being caught hacking in the past, what are these clown parents doing?

In general the UK will treat someone with autism the same as everyone else in terms of an actual sentence. It’s more to do with their treatment in custody and at trial.
 

They cannot be treated as a normal suspect would because of their vulnerabilities. An example being not being able to communicate effectively during a questioning, or exhibiting what you’d normally consider shady behaviour in a court room, eye contact etc. The forces must ensure that these individuals are given as fair a trial as possible given their circumstance. Of course this is a spectrum thing and so it would vary also.

 

The police will know who he is when going for him, and so the idea that they will storm in and use force just wouldn’t happen.

But I would add, more considerations are needed at trial. An autistic person might be socially naive, limited awareness of consequence and so on. So the defence has plenty of options in that respect that they might not with an average person.

 

But for me the past exploits said hacker has been arrested for and let free are more to do with his age than autism.

by kid, i meant late teens.

 

i agree i may be a little stereotypical in this regard but from people who have suffered from it that i have seen in person, it is visible to an extent. just the way how it has been described to me has seemed he is very hard to communicate with voice to voice and he used to get mocked a lot and made to do things for comical purposes of other people. this is from people who used to deal with him on a day to day basis.

It’s a non violent white collar crime, so I mean, I don’t expect much to happen at all. Like you said, the government is pretty lenient on it. Idk how plea deals work in the UK, but in the US you generally can agree to plea guilty to the lesser of the charges and have the remaining charges dropped.

For reasons I'm not going into I have a very, very good understanding of autism, on various ends of the spectrum. He could absolutely be socially awkward,  easily influenced etc, I don't know, never met him, but at the same time I strongly expect the same people giving out these personal details are utterly clueless on the matter because based on my experience the vast majority of people in the world don't understand it, and the majority of the people who say they do understand it cause they know an autistic individual or have seen one, also do not understand it.

 

But simply it's really an angle to this whole story that I don't think needs to be discussed or speculated on honestly. We don't know the truth and the word of people who just doxxed him isn't worth anything frankly.

 

Even then, it might up not being that guy altogether.

He wants to raise the biggest noise and make the biggest blast, so he aimed high and to the best, and that's Grand Theft Auto. Any other video game would had less symbolic relevance to the public opinion. 

 

Money seems not a priority for him but don't fool ourselves: we the fanbase are not the reason for this leak. If he were a radical idealist a la Tyler Durden, he had leaked everything to everybody all at once for free and sat to watch.

i do agree that they do not have a clear understanding of him but he does go to a special needs school which i know 100%. people played a prank on him one time and pretty much swatted his school bus last year (which was the bus that picks up and drops of special needs kids and he was on it).

 

nobody knows what level he is on the spectrum however, which is correct. he is clearly a very smart individual but it does seem like he is very seriously influenced by the people he keeps around him.

As great as regular updates and teasers are I think Rockstar are masters of building hype by purposefully saying nothing. Because they know when they do say something the Internet explodes.

 

Everyone complains about this tactic but they're allowed because when they do release a game or even a trailer it usually blows everything else out of the water and makes the competition look like amateurs.

Odd then, me and around 5 - 10 + people got kicked then without even typing anything in there all around the same time so I assumed it got nuked and deleted.
