I’m starting to think him and his cronies actually believe Jason is based on Zampella. As if Rockstar have based his appearance on him. Whole thing is weird.

edit: and tim neff is lucia's cousin, or brother. depends on how important and/or vital he will be to the story unfolding. wouldn't give up and hand over the take for your cousin, held hostage at gunpoint, in exchange for his life...maybe for your brother though.

Tim Neff is a stunt guy. Probably credited on many games, probably RDR too, I’m so confident with that I’m not even going to look to confirm it. He won’t have a character in the game. Just there to help actors in action scenarios. Likely the sole reason Rockstar do not care about people knowing he’s working with them. Because his role is insignificant to the characters.

 

The other guy doesn’t remotely resemble Zampella. It’s hilarious he’s even posted that, no idea what Swegs is even seeing there. Just resisting the urge to open Twitter and argue. Think he’s just desperate for a scoop before anyone else, hot time for GTA news right now.

 

Not the guy to follow on Twitter for news. If you want to follow someone who delivers with a bit of logic and integrity follow Legacy. Or just read here. We have consistently discussed the scoop before anyone on Twitter.

Maybe she is just the model for the character look , i know rockstar like to model character of what they look like irl maybe not this time but I'm 100% sure lucia voice actor is Alexandera echavarri in the leaks .

Not that there was any recent speculation, but the rumors dating back to 2015 about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes playing the protagonists can be put to an end now. Eva Mendes in interview back in May 2022 said she hopes to return to acting but No sexual and violent stuff.

EDIT: sorry folks, I'm going back to the drawing board on this one.

 

I'm gonna keep investigating and follow up on some leads. Hopefully I'll be able to pinpoint a more likely person at some point in the near future. If anyone has any tips or theories about who they think Jason's potential actor is, would love to discuss your findings and speculations!

Ahh good catch! But yeah listening to the way both characters sound when they say "Come on!" it just sounds so eerie how similar they are. To me, it can't be a coincidence and so it's gotta be the same person doing both voices. Also the way Jason sounds he shouts "Go!" is almost like a dead giveaway too. We shall know more when the first trailer finally drops. We'll get some more Jason lines to analyze and see if my theory holds up or not

That black girl from video above look pretty similar but I still think there is gonna be some different latina/black actress for her.
Anyway I could tell you by 100% echevari and that neff or whatever they names are has nothing to do with GTAVI they don't look or sound the same, and if someone think that Michael or Arthur don't look like they character get your eyes examed.  But this is lecture for anyone who believe SWEGTAS,TEZ,MRBOSSWHATEVER,BADGERS and others like them.

Can confirm it. The hair, voice, history working for R*, and it's really not hard to add some grungy redneck accent // He actually did voiced ped in first RDR where was western accent priority for main and minor character. Could be good known which one he did dubbed.
also Sonali Castilo is from FL, can speak EN and ESP and looks extremely similar
If it's just coincidence than it's must be the biggest I ever seen in my life.

Now I thought this was just a coincidence, but the more and more I thought about it, the more it just seemed too good to be a just a coincidence. If anyone has a copy of Midnight Club Los Angeles, I suggest you boot it up and take a listen to some of these lines because it's got my head spinning here. 

 

I want to stress that I DO NOT own a physical copy of MCLA, I only have a digital copy I bought off the Xbox store on my Xbox 360 from back when game originally released. And as far as I know, there aren't any videos uploaded on YouTube showcasing these particular voice lines either. If anyone does have a physical copy of the game, it'd be great if someone could somehow look into the files of the game and find these specific voice lines and upload them for others to listen to. I realize that maybe way easier said than done, but it would be good to have a convenient reference handy when re-watching the GTA6 leaks. 

 

So, let's get to it. To hear these lines, the player will just have to load up the game, pick a car and start cruising around the city spamming the horn button. Now as I said before, I can't find any videos on YT showcasing these lines, so your best bet is to load up a copy of the game and start spamming the horn button at NPC traffic and pedestrians. Now once you've heard those specific lines voice lines, if you have access to the GTA6 leaks, load up the clip of the diner robbery and compare the lines from MCLA to these lines in the leaks.

 

Jason's Lines

Now assuming that ya'll have done what I said and compared the way the voice actor from MCLA sounds to what we hear in the leaks, it's pretty f*cking eerie ain't it? It feels too good to be a coincidence that the voice we hear in MCLA sounds remarkably similar to what we hear in the leaks. The pitch of the voice, the inflections, and tone, it just about sounds like the same person. 

 

This is Matthew Metzger for those who don't know

On his IMDB page however, his height is listed as 6'1" (1.85 m) so he's kinda of a tall guy. This is once again consistent with what we saw in the leaks as Jason pretty much towers over Lucia, which to be fair Lucia is on the short side herself anyways. Matthew also seems to have the same body type as Jason as well, a bit on the lean side but fit nonetheless. 

 

Man in the Basement (Short 2005) - IMDb

In this 5-minute short, you can hear Matt put on a bit of a Southern accent for his character. 

 

Now one last thing, and I might be approaching "conspiracy" territory here, I noticed on his IMDB and his personal LinkedIn profile (which I will not link to because I don't know if that's okay to do so, consult the mods on that one) that he hasn't had any additional acting credits since 2015. Now obviously there shouldn't be a credit for GTA6 on any of his resumes for NDA-related reasons. It also seems he's been busy working as a Senior Consultant for a company called Root Inc. According to his LinkedIn profile, Matt worked there from October 2016 to October 2019, which I think would also be the time period for when the actors for GTA6's story are doing their mocap and voice work. I know we had that pic of Jorge Consejo in a mocap suit from 2014, but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that, due to the size and scope of this game (even if it has been quite downsized from its original concept), that voice acting and mocapping would still be going on till about 2018 or so. 

 

Anyways, the interesting thing to note about this Root Inc. company is this little summary I found:

Now I don't know about you, but I do think it's a little suspect that someone who has previously done work for R* in the past, is then working for a company that helps other companies with "cultural changes" during a time when he should also be doing some voice acting work. Then suddenly we get that Jason Schrier article a year later in 2020 detailing how R* have been making big strides in changing its work culture for the better. I'm not sure if this would be some kind of conflict-of-interest thing though, working for a company to drive "cultural changes" whilst also doing voice acting/mocapping for the client company. Then again, the way that article was worded made it seem like Take-Two and Rockstar were probably overhauling their work culture themselves, without the help of a consulting company. I could very well be reaching, but this is just speculation after all! Would like to hear some thoughts on this as I'm pretty sure I might be onto something credible here. Either that or I'm just going plumb crazy. In any case, I'm pretty sure we can all agree now that neither Bryan Zampella nor Tim Neff are the voice actors for Jason at this point.

This is all purely speculation though, so I won't be too surprised if it turns out I'm wrong. Hopefully the first trailer we get from R* there'll be some voice lines from Jason to analyze, make sure he still sounds the same
