Considering I and some others were here when it happened and there's a paper trail, you could not be more wrong. I'm too lazy to check the paper trail, but I swear I remember Luke being discovered the same day the trailer premiered, or at least within the following few. I distinctly recall being blown away before watching the reference clips of his SVU roles, and having an "oh yeaaaah" moment when I realized I'd seen both episodes in the past and had completely forgotten.

 

I also remember Franklin and Trevor's existences being leaked here a couple weeks or a month before they were officially revealed in one of the preview articles from the gaming magazines that were still in print back then. I don't think we got names in that leak, just the fact that there'd be three protagonists and vague descriptions of F and T.

I've also still got leaked audio from Davie's post-Vangelico cutscene dialogue as well as most of the ingame TV shows + Norris's execution. Can't remember how they leaked or where I found them, but I made damn sure to save copies as soon as I saw them.

 

Sorry for going off topic, I just got into a nostalgic mood reminiscing about V's prerelease period. Getting back on topic, I'm on team Natalie myself after watching yesterday's VI o'clock video. She both sounds and looks like a perfect match to me.

Luke is from Illinois (essentially Carcer State) and Michael is from Carcer.. 

not to mention Luis' VA is from NY as well

 

So I guess R* tries to match everything... makes sense as every region has its own accent/culture

I don't know if Rockstar has gone back to hiring big names for voice acting again, but there's a slight resemblance to Lucia.

It's almost certain that whoever did the voice, also provided their likeness and did the mocap again like with GTA V.

I was also here, but it was so long ago I misremembered. I vaguely remember the actors all following eachother on instagram and there were parallels drawn from Shawn Fonteno (og solo) to “red car guy” (Franklin). And this was in like, early 2012 before we had the second trailer and we MAY have just gotten a few screen shots. I guess ned like could be a fluke, but he looked so much like his ingame counterpart, and he had roles that made he easily identifiable, it was going to happen fast anyway. Roger Clark didn’t look anything like arthur, and his accent isn’t even the same as the one he portrays ingame. I think this time around rockstar did their homework to prevent us from finding out who the actors are until as late as possible.

A thought I had. We need to find the DJ from the nightclub. That may be the next clue that may lead us down the rabbit hole. I say this because every DJ and musician featured in gta online in the last few years is a real person and I see GTA VI being no different.

I remember Solo being found in 2012 too, the only pic the forum had of him was from a movie. He was a little overweight (chubby solo) and that's why people weren't so sure about it being genuine. 

Steven Ogg wasn't found till summer 2013 if I remember correctly. He was doing a short movie called Disgrace and some guy sent an email to the director asking if she knew Steven was in GTAV and she gave him away

Someone mentioned a few pages back that Rockstar does like taking from Dick Wolf productions, which is a fact, so this one is certainly interesting too. Hmmm. That said however, I'd have expected her to have had previous (pre-2023) experience in said productions.

 

But I do think we should be looking at Dick Wolf stuff - the Chicago series, Law & Order, etc.

We already have in the analysis thread. It's TOKiMONSTA, an artist that's done stuff for Circoloco, already been in GTA Online, and whose branding is all around the moon and its phases (seen in the trailer in the nightclub)

I think you are on to something. 

 

The biggest clue to me is her Instagram being private.

 

A lot of actors tend to leave their IG public to grow a following, which in most cases helps with getting casted in a show, movie, or theater production--as you have people you can promote the project you are in to. 

 

But the odd part about the private IG is she has a lot more followers compared to people she is following, which most likely means it was public at some point, probably for a good amount of the time.

 

Also the IG does not have any bio, but has her headshot which is very low key. 

 

She hasn't been in a lot of major stuff according to IMDB, but her Backstage bio says " 12 years ago I left my career in fashion to pursue acting in NYC".

 

Its possible she has only done theater and commercial work in NYC these past twelve years, which is credited on IMDB. Backstage on the other hand, yes. 

 

But her resume on there is private (you need an account). 

 

Also its important to note that Rockstar uses commercial agents for casting calls, not film, television, and theatrical agents. I recall Ned Luke and Alex McKenna saying that the job came through they're commercial agent.

 

She also has a twitter account, but she hasn't posted since 2010, and her last liked tweet was from 2016.

 

With how secretive Rockstar is, it'd make sense that she has been very low key as of late, maybe even a few years.   

 

I'd also like to add that she has a *very* similar facial structure to Lucia. Part of performance capture is using the face to capture data, so that would make a lot of sense.    

 

And lastly, it isn't the same voice, but its similar. She could be manipulating her voice a bit, similar to what Troy Baker did as Joel in The Last Of Us as an example.

 

Edit: The only thing that doesn't line up to me is why keep the Backstage account?  If Rockstar has told you that you will be working on it for 5 years or so, and you were under an NDA, wouldn't you delate it since you don't need work, and will be very busy for the foreseeable future?

 

Also, can someone confirm if she's apart of the SAG-AFTARA union? Rockstar only casts people that are a part of that union. If she was on Law & Order then she (probably) is as thats a SAG production. 

 

Another edit: Roger Clark, Benjamin Byron Davis, and Cali Elizabeth Moore all had public and active social media accounts prior to RDR 2 releasing, and people knew they were in the game like a year before release..

 

I'd imagine Rockstar wants things much closer to the chest with a new GTA game.

If you can find her in L&O SVU S24E18, you could compare her voice to trailer/leaked voice lines.

 

Also, she has some audio samples on her bio page, i compared it and my results are inconclusive, it kinda sounds like her but the acting style is different (on her bio, she is acting/audio sampling for commercial, so it's kinda different acting style, plus she sounds like she just woke up, not a good quality audio). If we could find live action footage of her (from SVU), maybe we would get a better conclusion.

The picture of Lucia on the top left and the first headshot to the left, I can see a very similar facial structure.

She is brazilian? This would be a first regarding Rockstar's protagonists, although Lucia herself don't look brazilian to me, maybe dominican, puerto rican or something. Then again the actress herself also don't look brazilian to me, despite being one, so maybe Lucia is brazilian herself too, who knows.

Ana Esposito is definitely the front runner for playing Lucia for now .

I think its very complicated to guess who is the actress, we dont even know the profile of the actress we are looking for, we dont know if we should look for a dominican, cuban, colombian, puerto rican or brazilian, i dont distinguish any specific accent in the trailer.

Respectfully, there are too many coincidences. Very similar facial structure, strong lack of social media presence (almost seems like she's trying to avoid any form of online interactions or links to other people who may be on the project), her resume requires an account on backstage.com (not all Actor profiles require this, its up to the person running the page).

 

She doesn't even have an Actors Access account, which is used by agents to send things such as slate-shots, resume, headshots, demo reels, where they've trained as actors to casting directors. But she is apart of SAG-AFTRIA, because Law & Order are a SAG production, but she doesn't have an Actors Access account?

 

Just seems off to be a modern actor trying to get work and being completely offline. Not to mention the IG account was made in 2012, clearly was public at some point, and is now private with no bio.

 

I don't know for sure, but to me she seems like she's trying to hide from the public eye. 

 

I can't blame her though, people are still harassing Alexandria Echavarri even though she's now come out and said she plays Lupe in GTA: Online, and not Lucia, but people are still harassing her in the comments on her IG page. 

 

I wasn't here back then, but didn't Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno delate they're accounts when they were discovered to be playing Michael and Franklin in GTA 5?

 

I'll keep an eye on the account from time to time to see if anything changes.

 

(Do not harass, or request to follow her, that's not what I'm saying, let me make that clear.)

Hmm... It's a very similar cadence in "Conversational - Girl Next Door" , but not the same voice. The way she is talking is different from Lucia, but in her video demo reel its pretty close.

 

She could be changing her voice for Lucia, and the way she talks, but I'm not too sure.

 

Still, a lot of it is pointing to her, in my opinion.

The thing I'm paying attention to is her facial movements, expressions, and body movements.

 

I think I'm going to make a video, I'll un-list it on YouTube --  It'll be comparing clips from her demo reels to Lucia from the trailer, hopefully I'll get some time to do it tomorrow. 

 

I've got to watch her demo reels more though.

So, I have an update -- Ana Esposito has removed all of her liked tweets on Twitter.

 

Her two tweets are still up, but all her liked tweets have been removed. Her last liked tweet was from the year 2016. Again, she's unliked all of them.

 

I checked on both the Twitter app and just now on my computer.

 

I think she really is Lucia. 

 

Also, did anyone grab a screenshot of the tweets she liked prior to this update?

 

I have a screen grab that I took after I noticed all her liked tweets were removed by her.

 

Sorry for so many edits. I'm kinda in disbelief right now.

 

The odd part is nobody new is following her, so maybe she's lurking on the form?
