The op, who bitterly accepted that there even was a leak in the first place, is now asking someone to say in which video they saw new cars? Come on. This is not a speculation; you are just discussing the leaked material in the most direct way possible without ever specifying what you are actually discussing about.

I mean it was the cars that helped me realized that the leak was legit and it wasn’t a hoax made out of an asset flip on unreal; none of the cars like the Ranchero or Skylark were in any other games or on payware/freeware sites. Thus, they were modeled from scratch and thus the leak was legit. I did my own research, I took the L, and I’m trying to help catalog which vehicles were shown in the leak.

 

If you wanna help with the cataloging and discussion you’re more than welcome to but refer to rules 2 and 3 in the OP lol

based on the leaks the amount of rigging and animating artists did for car interiors is astonishing and maybe you can only see that in games like gran turismo or forza which i doubt they have a option to rotate front mirror in different direction.

The white Skylark does not have full width headlights. There are angles in the video where you can tell it has a grille.

 

The G20 is a type of Chevy van, and is the 6x6 one, so you can merge those two. It could be based on the Burrito, or could even be called a Burrito, as the first gen Burrito from V has a rear-end inspired by the Chevy G20.

 

The blocky white sedan is a Primo. Seems like they're just low quality props, like the vehicle carcasses you'd find in scrapyards.

I remember that when lucia got in the police car after robbing that store at the top right corner a message poped up saying " press (some button) to open vehicle menu" maybe thats how we control the features seen in the car's interior video and turning signals, kind of what was in Test Drive Unlimited 2

Glad to see the Sabre is making it in. I think the Sabre GT from GTA IV is the best. Hopefully it's not a completely different car than what I'm currently thinking of.

I noticed in the clip with the movable mirror that there's a slider for gas, brake and clutch. Does this imply GTA VI will have manual/stick shift vehicles? There's also a slider for gears, so that could be automatic shifting or manual.

Someone pointed out that those functions could just be for cutscenes. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I'd like to see that. People always say "blah blah gta is not a racing game" But I can assure you that driving in GTA with gears is fun as hell. So fun, and way better than that clunky stock, automatic setup Rockstar has. I'd like to see smarter automatics too, for new cars. No delay between shifts, and adapting between sporty and relaxed driving. It's so annoying going for a relaxed cruise in GTA 5 only for the car to want to rev high and switch gears constantly.

Maybe it'll be more realistic with car speeds and gear ratios; like of course a sporty coupe would be a lot faster and shift quicker than a clunky 80s econobox

Anyone notice the animation into the car? When entering on the passenger side with driver seat empty, the character model goes head first rather than sitting down then scooching over, making it look more natural and possibly faster. Also normally getting in was smooth as well, no hesitation/freezing or clipping.

And regarding the variety of car seat/interior item positions, I assume it's mainly for npc cars to look natural and unique, I'd be very surprised if cars driving toward the sun had visors down, but it may also play into first person views, where the car auto adjusts to the person getting into the car so everything will be positioned optimally, which also seems like a bit of a stretch. And pedals moving based on input makes sense. It all might possibly help with any model clipping.

They should really take some pages out of BeamNG's book.

 

They just rolled out a big update today, and the vehicle improvements are amaaaaaaaaaaaazing.

I just realized I forgot about the white sedan to the right when she first walks out of the Waffle House. It looks a bit like a Premier but it's too big to be one. I'm getting Chrysler Sebring vibes, which of course makes me dream of a return of the III Kuruma...

Yeh I noticed that too when I was making the list. I was gonna put it as a Premier but then I was like eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh its too big to be one. But I also don't see much of a Sebring in it either.  I thought it was a newer car cuz of the rim + tire ratio being f*ckin crazy but idk. So yea, I can put it in but idk if I should put it in the OP as a suspected XL Premier or a suspected Sebring/Stratus?
