I don't know American agriculture, but there could be other states north that might have big farms with them, still not that sure there.

One of the pictures there in your post is not showing, Is it this one you put there?

r0_0_2880_1920_w1200_h678_fmax.jpgcane-harvester-in-field-1366x768.jpg

More of those heavy vehicles will be great to see, looking at your signature there, I think there's probably gonna be variety of Trucks too this time around due to the map likely being bigger as well. (similar to 18 wheels of steel/truck simulator games).

~american-truck_11539123_preview.jpgra-long-haul-semi-truck-rural-western-us

But they might not do it because of the simulator games...?

Edit: Page 15  Discussion for Trucks.

Yep that’s what’s meant to show there….weird that it isn’t show for you 22513883_huge.jpg

Ideal new fieldmaster a John Deere 6145M

But yes there are many combines in other states but due to floridas climate, grain crops (that you harvest with a combine) aren’t very common. Same with much of California.

I hope for new trucks as well. Cascadia would be nice. But most of all I hope for the dune and Brickade to return. Because who doesn’t want a Mercedes Axor/MAN TGS expedition truck? You can sometime see (usually) German plated ones in the USA. @Tennyzulander And dune because race truck.

And I agree the tanker should be an anthem…road train should return as a Mack Titan and the packer should be cascadia even though it’s current one is a Mack CH.

Also I really hope the towing system is updated. No more cars crashing into the side. No more jackknifing unhitching the trailer. No more trailers that weigh the same as a feather.

Now on the topic of page 15. Well…I think the hauler should return. Obviously it shouldn’t spawn everywhere but it’s a late 90s Freightliner FLB and they’re still somewhat common to be seen in and around ports as intermodal container haulers. Desired for their better maneuverability in the busy environment of a port. That and all of the large trucking companies kept buying cabovers well into the early 2000s. So they were cheap and plentiful on the used market until eventually most of them got shipped to russia.

And @universetwisters I think the 6 speeds is fine. Trucks in gta drive as if it they have an Allison 6 speed gearbox, which are common in some trucks so whatever.

Also @TheHoover69 they fell out of favour because really, compared to a conventional it’s a more complex design to engineer. And they are heavier on the front axle and weight laws are very strict in the USA. Freightliner had their last attempt with the Argosy. And in the rest of the world euro trucks are pretty much the norm. In Australia/New Zealand/Africa the Mercedes Actros has completely replaced the Argosy.

European truck manufacturers are huge and cabover designs are preferred for their increased load space.
The difference in a euro cabover compared to an American cabover even in the early 2000s is huge.
American ones were loud and hot due to little insulation , very rough due to no cab suspension, forward axle placement for weight regulations, dated chassis suspension designs, and not to mention to keep engineering budgets small the conventional chassis were used for cabovers making for a raised engine which cut a lot into the cab.

Funny enough a early 2000s euro truck is still much better to a current American conventional. :D

And yes @RaioMakuin the k200 is very much the last “American style” (lets be fair it’s wholly Australian at this point) cabover. A bit dated but has a large cult following for its simplicity. And euro trucks are becoming increasingly more common in Australia because they’re simply the most efficient, reliable  and comfortable for drivers. Even in Mexico they have euro trucks and they’re gaining a lot of popularity.
Only reason why US/Canada don’t have euro trucks are strict front axle weights which prefer conventionals. Euro trucks have steel cabs and with all that weight on the front…..I’m sure you can see the picture.

American truck manufacturing is really quite small. Euro companies own most of the American ones exception for the US based Paccar(Peterbilt /kenworth) who owns the Dutch based DAF. Although Peterbilt and kenworth use DAF engines…..

American trucks borrow a lot of parts from euro trucks, engines, gearboxes, axles, and interior components.

Only smaller truck manufacturing is Australia with their specific Iveco, Mack and kenworth models.

Loooool that's an old discussion to circle back to.

Idk how common those 6 speed gearboxes are tho. When I got some furniture delivered a few months ago, it got delivered in a Freightliner Cascadia with a day cab and the guy said it was a 10 speed stick

637484022971932850.jpgSome do, usually in trucks that do a lot of stop and go distribution work. More common in medium trucks like the M2 106 below

Also I think we should see a truck based on the M2 since they have been literally everywhere irl since 2002 and there isn’t one at all in 4 or 5.

Delivery--Moving--Straight--Box-Trucks-F

Also I think it’s time for the Mule to get an update. Peterbilt 220 perhaps.

img.axd?id=4175679361&wid=4326185391&rwl

ALSO WE NEED A SPRINTER VAN!!! I wish R* would stop with the stupid dated American van things. Literally adding how many vans to the game? And they’re all based on a GM……

Also a 4x4 variant please

FREIGHTLINERSPRINTER-MAIN_i.jpg

Some other wishes: Diverse amount of Golf cars, (Club Car DS, Club Car Precedent, Club Car Onward) which are also customizable regarding tires, lifts, seats, lights, roofs etc. (because this is florida)

A new Cuban based on a Diamond DA62

A Robinson R44 helicopter as a new sparrow

Some new motorhomes…Prevost conversions and what not

This, all GTA 5 vans are boxy, we need more round vans like this one, the same goes for the trucks.

As many mentioned, some of the Last released Cars from GTAO are already from GTA6?!

But I wouldnt be a great Fan of that. Imagine GTA6 is finally Releasing and you already know many of the Cars and they feel old immediatly....

So? Theres still going to be many new cars to the series. And why would you suggest they remove cars? I think that all cars that have a place in gta that have already been in the series should return (except for the stupid cars like the arena vehicles and the oppressor)

Exactly, I suspect we will see a sprinter van. Probably with a name like Benefactor Runner/Walker whatever funny lolz.

Maybe multiple vans based on a sprinter because R* moment? I mean there’s like what the speedo, burrito, pony etc. all based on a GM Express/savana. Terrible.

Also I think the excavator we saw is probably an O&K RH6-20 or RH6.6

On the topic of vans. I wonder why Rockstar hasn't made a van based on the Chrysler RT minivans yet.

The excavator does seem to have the engine compartment of a Cat 323

Everything forward of it however seems to resemble an O&K RH6. As well as it’s paint scheme.

Which vehicles from GTA V and even IV would fit (or not) to be ported over to VI? apart from what we saw in the leaks. If anything, what changes do you think they would need in order to fit the model quality (apart from increased poly count), based on (as speculation) the current DLC vehicles from online as standard, that were very likely ported from VI. I would exclude interiors from the discussion as we know that they are getting pretty much redesigned from scratch, and the lastest DLC vehicles.

I would personally exclude, for example, the Washington model as its already showing its age in V. I would return the Admiral from IV, redesign it as proper mix of grand marquis and the town car, and give the Washington a complete new look, maybe making it look like a old/classic Cadillac sedan or something.

The Uranus from IV would be a very welcome addition, without much changes design wise, as it was already pretty detailed in IV.

The Rapid GT with a proper front grille, chromed headlamps, no carbon fiber side mirrors and properly textured rear lights would be nice too.

I would completely replace the Issi model with a 2 door version of the Issi Rally, which looks better in every aspect IMO.

The Solair from IV would fit as good as the Uranus, without much changes aswell, it aged much better than the Stratum IMO.

The Adder shape its pretty spon on too, but the car lack details. With a functional spoiler, redesigning the front and rear lights setups (and adding turning and reverse lights), a proper 2 color scheme and removing the carbon fiber textures from the side mirrors would make it look very nice.

I could go on with a sh*tton more examples

I’ll have to watch the video again and update the list with it then. I’m just curious as to whether or not it’s gonna be drivable or if it’s just gonna be a static prop like most tracked vehicles in the series

In my opinion, cars that are properly modelled and aged well enough to be included in GTA VI are these:

Banshee
Infernus
Primo
Buccaneer

Sabre from GTA IV
Sabre Turbo
Phoenix
Zion
Baller 2
Patriot
Super GT
Esperanto
Merit
Oracle XS
Solair
Willard

I mostly agree except, like Americana said, the Banshee, and the Infernus. Both great designs but they are showing their age IMO. Imagine the Banshee redesigned to current standards and the Infernus reimagined as a proper Aventador, for example.

The Baller 2 looked pretty in the leaks, it aged very well, if anything I wouldnt mind if the grill is fully chromed this time and the LED strips are replaced with a more modern look, but they still look good even to this day for me.

I'm on the fence with the Patriot, if you look at the general shape, its good, the rear lights are very good, even more with the updated textures from After Hours, but the front needs to be redesigned IMO, a proper facelift would give the car justice, and some proper set of wheels.

The Sabre from IV is also a nice car to return, but it would clash with the Tahoma I guess, same with the Esperanto and their almost exact rear lights setup.

The rest of the cars returning need to have proper suspension height, for some reason R* tends lower the cars too much.

Perhaps like the dozer it’ll have simple controls allowing you to raise the boom off the ground. And camera angle to turn the body of the excavator. Like driving a rhino tank.

It seems detailed enough not to be static. The cabin interior is visible.

If it’s static I’ll be very sad.

Types of crane vehicles I also see being in the game, we saw that construction vehicle in the leaks. (diner clip) so why not many other ones. I don't know how the big crane (if that can be used) will even work, maybe that one is an exception.

Type of vehicles that we could lift entire other cars off more easily, or other objects, thought it'd be nice for gameplay.

Perhaps we will be able to operate cranes at worksites and ship yards like in gta sa.

Sucks that in 5 operating a gantry crane is mission only. And any shipyard or crawler crane is static. As well all the Übermacht (play on Liebherr even though it’s based on BMW) tower cranes are static. On that note we should see more liebherr based things with the Übermacht branding…….

There are many large draglines operating near Miami in quarries.
As you can see they dig out the material, it floods due to the high water table and then they build a subdivision around it!!!

In one of the gas station videos (maybe with Lucia) I saw two cars in the distance. One of them is 99% a Ruiner (thank god) and the other one looks very much like the old Feltzer Cabrio from GTA IV. Sadly they are very low quality but the details seem to line up.

Also there was a Dodge Stratus next to the excavator that no one seems to talk about.

If the first two are correct then I'll be pleased. A Phoenix, older Sentinel, Uranus or Super GT would be a topping on the cake

Sadly, Rockstar seems to be more interested in adding the billionth Hot Wheels kiddo hypercar instead of classics from past games. Like actual car manufacturers, they just bring back old names on cars with no relation to the original. Like Mitsubishi calling an SUV an "Eclipse". 🙄

What are your expectations when it comes to tuning and customizing cars? Especially tuning? There seems to be so little incentive, imagination or even connection to the workings of the real world coming from the creators when it comes to this particular subject, it's laughable. I mean they have already showed that they either don't give a f*ck or they simply don't know sh*t - since slapping " TURBO " label on anything and every-f*cking-where is their grand vision and the main ingredient of tuning, which is not only wrong in the real world scenario, 'cause why in the hell would you ruin naturally aspirated V8 or V12 engines with such a nonsense like that - under the asumption that having an awesome NA V8 for example in GTA V/0nline mattered even a little bit, which it doesn't, really - but more importantly, it's confusing at best in the gameplay sense of things. Does adding a turbo to a turbocharged car makes it a bi-turbo now? What about cars that are like that by their 'factory' nature, if such thing even exist there in the first place?

Furthermore and bottom line, not only is their vision confusing and doesn't make sense in a practical, gameplay sense of things, not only it reflects a negligent take on such an important part of it, the thing that hurts the most is that there are video games that are 20+ years old in which you can see how easy it is to make a connection with the real world, be completely straightforward with the concepts you are showing, make complete sense of things and above all else, make it fun as hell for the players. Cherry on top, we don't talk about some top of the line simulation type of games, but typical arcades.

Seriously, does anyone expect anything more 'serious' out of the next GTA when it comes to this really important gameplay part of driving, which is by itself one of the most important gameplay mechanics - I don't talk about it being simulation alike, when said it's serious, but their intention and will to make it comprehensible, structured, thought out and ultimately f*cking fun? As portrayed in V it comes more as a flaw, rather than the actual feature and I just can't get over the fact it's being so overlooked and not talked about by the community, let alone viewed as a f*cking masterpiece alike. Are you really satisfied by it so far?

I agree

Perhaps we will see a new tuning system where we select individual parts to add/upgrade.

I don’t expect handling to change much however.
