a statement would only make the people somehow still unaware of the leaks, to look for them. r* will most likely keep quiet about it.

 

or alternatively they could make a short statement asking people to resist the leaks and avoid misconceptions like what genshin impact pr did a year ago when a dev build leaked. but a silence is more likely with r*

This is what they look like. This is exactly what they look like.

 

Optimisation is typically the last phase of development, and those high end assets and visual stuff is performance intensive, so not suitable to have turned on while they are doing in-game testing and development. It's not so much that the high end assets and visual stuff didn't exist when that footage was recorded either, they probably do (but again, all in dev still), but it's just turned off. Most of the devs don't care how it looks at that stage.

 

 

 

Ofc it's going to be polished up considerably before release and I'm sure the graphics will look nothing like this.

 

But from what I've seen from the gameplay so far - it's really not that different to V. Even the conversations between some of the peds are too similar - no emotion in those conversations and still boring and not very engaging. 

 

R* have made us wait and wait and wait for this sh*t - and they know that we have high expectations.

 

If the progress they've made to date is some modifications to the base of the GTAV game then we're probably another good 4/5 years away from release.

What I noticed watching the footage is that the dummy NPCs have their limbs sectioned up. I wonder if this means they're testing dismemberment?

This is easily a top 3. GRAND THEFT AUTO 6 is probably the most anticipated game out there now, and we've got loads of stuff even before an announcement. Nothing really compares. There have been similar leaks, but not for anything as important as GRAND THEFT AUTO.

I don’t know man, normally I would be skeptical, but this looks way to good and advanced to be fake. It has to be real, plus it matches what Jason Schreier said about the game have a male and female protagonist (with the female being a latina) and the story being inspired by Bonnie and Clyde
