Fair point, but the point I was making is that RAR files themselves can never really do any damage. Zip bombs ever rarely work and can be easily avoided if you just check the contents of the file before extracting it.

Not really... files generally have to be "run" to execute some sort of malicious code. unless you are already infected with some sort of application that runs files on downloads, you can be pretty safe from a download, what you need trust is the website that you are getting the file from, that can have more consequences than just downloading a file from a trusted domain. The file download is a rar file, they can have malicious code within them, generally cant cause any damage without being "ran"

Stuff like this is easy to get, like I said, this is basic source code anyway which is in GTA 5 RDR2 and MP3, nothing much
