i've been playing gta since 2000. the actual rush of going through this thread, real time, and getting a glimpse of various videos was thrilling. look at how many people are posting "i was here." where was rockstar for the last 10 years? releasing a sh*tty updated version of SA and GTA 3 lol.

not months. this'd take 10 YEARS MINIMUM. i mean the data collection for accuracy, hardware cost, cost of time, making a new game with similarities to rdr2 and just debug looking stuff ETC

Fair point, but when rockstar makes something they don't put 50 flashing advertisements of whats happening, like certain scripts to.

Scripts are always iffy, have glitches and bugs.

So unless these are like ex-developers or ex-rockstar developers, I don't think some small time scripters who can work on weekends could pull this off.

*But then again, it's been 9 years LOL.

 

It's just too different and is mixed with RDR2, which is what makes it more believable than just "haha vice city mod for GTA V"

I was considering the possibility of a large majority being stolen assets,which in the right hands can essentially be a copy paste. But yes that’s also possible

Sadly we're not in ye olde internet anymore. Data breaches are too common now a days. It's honestly a surprise this didn't get leaked sooner considering how high profile of a target this game is.

It's honestly surprising to me in terms of how much we actually got, considering how long we've been waiting. The leaks themselves provide a solid foundation for mapping/voice actor hunting itself. I haven't watched all of the videos, but are there any clips of the radio being played? Might be able to pinpoint some DJ's that have done the mixes, unless they are just reusing the radio from GTA V?

I've seen a ton of leaks and this is real but i don't believe it happened it's more likely it's a marketing stunt as this leak is too good, based on how rockstar games work theres no way for leaks to happen they are the most secretive game developer and they don't just let leaks happen
