Yes, but only thing is this isn't the first time something like this has happened to R*. Like Red Dead 2 map leak and black belles cabin. similarly with GTA V, rush casting call and some submarine screenshot. This is probably one on the biggest leaks they've ever had though. They can only keep quiet for so long.

It's not 90+ minutes of gameplay footage. It's roughly 53 minutes of dev footage. You can find the same footage circulating around YouTube at the moment, this is just the uncompressed form.

I'm not a IT-expert here but i guess you also have to be careful who you employ to work on your games so they don't pontentially leak it to the public just if they feel like it or something like that, there has to be massive background checks and contracts before these big companies hires people

This is HUUGE ! ! I imagine that if the source code does not come to light. Rockstar could be forced to change most of what they have already worked on. GTA 6 could be cancelled as a false alarm ? Delayed until 2028 ?

Sadly the video link has been deleted by OP. If you didn't download it in time there's still no need to fomo: it's just basic gameplay which proves that it is based in Miami. Refreshing to see a comeback to Vice City, the best GTA map there is. Also its delightful to finally see a playable female character. I hope that her story is well written.

NDA's and trust only go so far, for sure. This leak didn't come from the inside though (as far as we know) Someone imposting a member of IT support and an employee falling for it and giving the person access to a private - company owned communications channel is a issue of insufficient training for sure.

Technicals of R* networking and other cyber security setups aside.
