To everyone saying its going to get delayed by years... Just stop... It wont be... Maybe 6 months at most. The games is probably still a few years away probably 2024 or 2025 release but this leak wont have a huge effect on the release. Online release maybe but that's it.

Don't think it's likely. R* ain't gonna redesign anything, at least in my eyes. This is a big blow internally for them definitely, but redesigned protagonists aren't going to magically make consumers say "Oh, guess the leaks were fake"

Going back to square one would be a waste of money and dev time, especially when they've got voice lines recorded and everything. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if character designs get slightly updated; but if they are, it wouldn't be because of the leaks. It'd be just the natural course of game development.

 

Take Street Fighter 6 for example. Its entire character roster got leaked day ONE, including possible DLC. They've stuck to those leaked designs in the final game.

Best R* can do is take sh*t down, and hope what did leak causes some buzz/anticipation for their game.

And besides, a delay was always going to happen no matter what game, Rockstar is notorious for delaying their games

It was always gonna get delayed, that's the nature of AAA development. Now it's gonna get pushed back 4 years instead of 2
