Then again I know they would be very limited to content, weapons cars and other assets that existed then.

So I've just sat through all the footage and yep, I have no doubt this sh*t is the real deal. There's no possible way you can fake something like this. I can't say I'm feeling the protagonists too much (and no, it's not because one of them is a chick), but the map of Vice City looks interesting.

 

I find it hilarious this happened either way. Looks like their prolonged smug silence bit them in the arse eventually.

Gotta be honest, doesn't sound that terrible from a dev's perspective. I'd just be nervous with the whole world doing a code review of my work. I honestly think this is much more of a crisis for upper management than developers.

for me and most, GTA lost its charm and is no longer like it used to be, and for me GTA IV was peak.

We could compare it with movies today, all these damn sequels with better technology to work with, and yet can't beat those old one's, cause they built with more passion and heart.

The only issue is that because upper management (only likes ordering around) doesn't really make the game, this is going to be a huge burden on the developers
