As much as I hate that he's now asking for a deal to keep the source code from being leaked. I'm very happy to finally see something new from Rockstar Games after almost 10 years. In this time we only heard about: GTA Online, GTA Online, GTA Online and GTA+ subcription service. GTA Defintive Edition also ruined R* reputation even more by releasing a broken mobile game to consoles and PC.

 

So it was only a matter of time before someone managed to break into the R* servers or whatever and show us what's really going on.

I do feel sorry for the hard working devs, that actually care about this game (unlike GSG, lol) but the way how T2/R* treats their fans and customers, this was to be expected.

No. They have however proven to have it by showing 10s of thousands of lines of code in a pastebin that i have not personally seen.

That restaurant scene gives me GTA 4 vibes. But the cop outside kinda needs improvements, the AI was weird.

Lets hope Rockstar Games takes the time to polish the game.

I'm sure that a lot of Rockstar devs would love for source code to leak, so that people could go and make cool mods once the game releases. Individual devs don't lose anything by this leak.
