This leak definitely is the real deal though, the dev environment matching past rage games is a dead giveaway. Idk what Foxf*ck was talking about in the beginning of the thread.

 

You should always be skeptical of people who claim they can look at a recording of gameplay and start suggesting with certainty they know what the underlying engine is and can confirm the authenticity of what they are saying. They treat the engine like it's just some assets bundle package rather than the mostly unseen development tools and cohesion of these tools. Not a safe bet back then.

 

It's not hard at all to see the strong resemblance in style between Red Dead Redemption 2 and this GTA 6, though, for sure.

look, i agree with you that Rockstar poorly managed this all mods situation.

but, we're all here looking forward for the game to come. or even just for a trailer of it.

leaking parts of the source code is doing the opposite thing of our desire. its just gonna setback the game we're all desire for in a matter of who knows how much.

The 10.000 lines could be a single file a dev could have posted as a chat message to someone.

That script is a GTA 5 script, seemingly related to controlling AI behavior, but i could be off base on that. By itself its not particularly useful, since we don't have any of the header files, co-dependant scripts etc
