Just thought it'd be nice to show everything "important" about the leaks. Everything I will show consists of sheer screenshots. In summary, the game takes alot of features from RDR2 and refines/elevates them. there is a lot to go through so i can't write everything in one sitting, will update throughout time, any suggestions pls comment and i will update.

The game is based on a Bonnie & Clyde type couple, Lucia who is hispanic and Jason who is presumably a hillbillie. As known, the game is in Vice City and takes alot from RDR2, has features such as shoulder swapping, Antagonizing* and more. AI has had a major overhaul, cops no longor just mercilessly shoot at you, they offer a time to surrender before doing that. Alot of the gameplay simply features GTA5 assets, the same cars, same HUD and so on, so there is not much to derive enviroment wise other than it's set in a more vibrant and colorful vice city. Based off of a nightclub cutscene, the game will retains GTA 5's over the top satrie and comedy, with characters being lively and talkative, unlike their gta 4.

Vehicles

Player can shoot out of vehicles in a similar style to Ghost Recon Wildlands, body out of the window shooting, not just arms.

R* Dev References

To start off, one of the videos shows a crouching animation with a menu showing that the animations were made in 2021 by "tobias.kleanthous", according to linkedin, he is based in Edinburgh - where Rockstar are based, and works for tencent. But, he previously worked at R* as a "Lead AI/Gameplay Programmer" and worked there from Nov 2014 - Dec 2021.

Cover / Crouching System

On the same video mentioned above, it appears that we will have variable crouching for when the player is in cover.

Real Locations

Many irl locations have been found in the leaked footage. The details between them is fairly intrecate and would be a big effort to make should this be a fake

EDIT: u/OpenWorldsProject has noted that this is a 2019 restaurant called El Toro Taco Mexican Restaurant, when looked at on the map, it is far beyond what Vice City covered, this map will be massive.

Weapon Mechanics / Wheel

The game is using RDR2 Weapons system, as some other leaks have reported. Long Guns physically show on your back and the body contorts with player-controlled movement, with the pistol remaining aimed. The weapon wheel is also based off of RDR2s system, with L1 / LB allowing you to manage weapons, equipment and gear, we also see that one long gun can go in a holster (ur back) for faster equipping. NPCs seem to be able to shoot over walls without exposing their whole selves.

Players can swap shooting hands, as well as change the perspective of 3rd person (left - right)

Lucia and Jason rob a store together

Pedestrians have different interaction options similar to RDR2. In one clip a shopkeeper is being robbed with the button input of Triangle, it can be assumed that Square would be Greet and Circle would be Antagonize. However, in the video shown, Triangle is shown to be Rob and Circle is shown to be Threaten, it could be (imo) that these options vary depending on the situations. In the video, references to E-Cola can be seen, the 2nd Protagonist (Jason) can be seen ordering peds to get down (they get on their knees) and the 1st Protagonist (Lucia) getting the money from the shopkeepers. You can also see Lucia tie up a ped who is on his knees to prevent them from going aggro - when the cops arrive, the peds give off voice lines praising the cops for arriving, dialogue already seems much better. The cops sit outside as they would irl and await the protagonists, pleading for them to come out "you're surrrounded". Later in the video, Jason says "Let's gout out here clean, baby come one" which suggests that the 2 protagonists are in a relationship, this coincides with the leaks that the protagonists would be bonnie and clyde -esque. When Lucia comes out, the cops begin shooting, but not erratically or constantly, they occasionally stop to see if she will surrender, and the player can surrender.

There seems to be methods of storage for items of various sizes in the game, using shipping containers to store bikes for example. There isn''t much details but it seems like it would serve great purpose in the game.

Shown below are list of details made by Trash_Ok on GTAForums, credit to them:

• Map is located in Vice City (Miami) - looks huge, one video features a lake which IRL is quite far from Miami, perhaps the map features a bigger chunk of Florida

• At least 2 protagonists, Lucia and Jason, switchable characters, looks like you can call them to help you e.g. when robbing places

• New animations like prone, characters bracing in shootouts, an animation titled "overdose", animations referencing horses and horse riding

• Redesigned weapons wheel with additional slots for cigarettes, medicine, trauma kit...

• You can pick up/drop weapons, carry a duffel bag, looks like the weapon inventory will be more limited, lots of drug dealing references

• Cars have interiors with lots of detail and animations - seat, mirror, wheel, sun visor adjustments... 

• Robbing shipping containers, drilling locks

• Open interiors like motel, metro station, restaurants, pawn shop (selling stolen goods?), supermarket..., references of functional elevators

• References of RPG elements - food, drink, sweat, fatigue, animal taming...

• Mountain bike ramps references, city bikes renting

• Car damage looks to be more detailed, only 1 proper collision in the leak afaik so hard to say

• Boat damage tests - perhaps it will carry over from RDR2? Loved the physics there.

• Cloth (skirt) physics 

• Cops remember your vehicle model/plate, I hope San Andreas' respray to escape is not making a comeback lol

• Small robberies are full of detail, NPCs reacting to everything going on, cops surrounding the place without entering blindly

• A list of dynamic world events like missing tourists

Regarding Credibility of Leak

Alot of people doubt this is a real leak which is reasonable, GTA 6 is single handedly the most mysterious game ever, but everything points towards this being real, reasons below.

• The original leaker claims that they recieved the content through Rockstar's Slack Communications, Slack is a "messaging program designed specifically for the office, but has also been adopted for personal use. Wikipedia"

  • This is reinforced by his claim that he is the same user who hacked Uber through the same method, Slack. this all together makes the content and nature of leaks make sense.

  • The leaker had also shown GTA 5 Source Code which I can't necessarily comment on as ik jack sh*t about code but can be argued as further proof.

  • The leaker also had sent some PDF File Screenshots which also reinforce the credibility. In alot of leaks, the use of language is often a big teller of whether or not a leak is legit. And looking at the language used in these screen shots, it would be hard to believe that some random neckbeard made this.

• Simply because of magnitude, the gameplay we've seen from this leak is far too big in scale and content for it to be fanmade.

  • The prevalance of Rockstar / GTA Branding (Fleeca, E-Cola, etc...) also makes it impossible that this may be a leak of another game like Mafia 4 or some sh*t.

• Not only is there faith through quantity, but there is also faith through quality, the detail in these videos are beyond anything we've seen, you can attribute some features to some games (Drive-by shooting in Ghost Recon, Stolen Vehicle Recognition in Mafia) but to have all these fatures in one games both from many diff games but also very original and hard to construct features, is something we've only seen rockstar do. The scale of the map, the real life representations. It all shouts A Rockstar Production.

• Many features can be seen in older Rockstar Games, you can see the weapon system from RDR2 be used, but at the same time that GTA V Driving physics are being used, this rules out it just being and RDR2 or GTA V mod.

• There is noticable Motion Capture in these leaks, no sane person would be willing to run extremely expensive mo-cap sessions for a measly leak, the animations in these cutscenes are extremely realistic and beyond both GTA V and RDR2, a clear sign of a Rockstar Game.

  • Voice Acting is also very well made, you can see it in the leaks and they are very similar to the style of GTA Dialogue.

 

Actually I apologize this is a very good post. The forums are running really slow for me so it took me awhile to get back to this. The whole thing about this being the same person who hacked Uber yesterday through Slack is true. So much for Slack, though, huh?

This he likely won't be a psychopath like Trevor might be Franklin situation trying to ditch that low class life and make it big. You can see in one of the leaks he dresses different with shirt, no cap and wearing sun glasses.
