Oh well... not sure if i needed that leak. I know they take their sweet time but i'd have liked to see it from R* themselves. The "surprise" is out of the bag now, atleast two protagonists, male and female, and atleast Vice City. If i could use one of these MiB memory erasers, i'd use it right now.

Do they have to? I mean, no, but they will, even if it's just a basic "a leak happened, footage is development footage and not final" etc.

 

There is speculation it could push the full reveal forward if the full reveal was close as has been speculated (October) but that is pure speculation right now.

 

If there's further leaks, particularly source code, then it will get a lot messier.
