Oh Im very happy with how this will f*ck Rockstar. Dont get me wrong I'll buy all their games day one, but they have not been nice and have disappointed me a lot the last few years. I'm only feeling bad because this might mean a further delay.

By the way, I want to say I hate when clients want to see my work unfinished, so any criticisms I have aren't directed at developers doing superb work. I'm just being picky and choosy. I'm sure GTA VI will be a great success. 

 

I do feel for developers that are having their work criticized and it being unfinished. I do take that into consideration when criticizing and I do try allow for adjustments for what the game might look like finished. I also open for my mind to be changed. I want to enjoy GTA VI.

If anyone noticed the car interior videos - the cars now have working sunvisors, you have the ability to adjust the steering wheel, the drivers seat and the rear-view mirror. 

These things make me think about VR features. What do you think guys?

I like these features but WHY would you need them on a console game? It would be hard to control these things with a controller... Idk

That would be unfortunate, because I'd really like more abilities in these games when it comes to movement. For example I hope we can grab people (Sleeping Dogs, Taints Row) smack them against walls or through objects and stuff. Basically a much better combat system. I loved the hand to hand combat in SA, it's never been actual fun after that anymore.

Now now, I'm not gonna get too much hyped, but if this game manages to find its way to last gen consoles, then we can expect it to release earlier than 2025, and then full release on current gen consoles later on.

 

If that is the case, then I suggest yall to start looking for good SSDs for your last gen consoles, because they gonna need it!

I don't know much about game dev no, I just jumped on the bandwagon because it was cool and a bit of cheeky sh*tposting. I do however know enough about IT to know it takes just one person with a weak or compromised account/password to f*ck sh*t up major

yeah to be fair I knew it wasn't a question originally directed at me either but figured I'd be the first to take the chance in the other direction! The days of sharing passwords across services are still with us and I can imagine someone is either getting fired or if the rumours on who it is are true, they have already left R* and had all this info (downloaded from Slack) on their computer once it was compromised. It wouldn't surprise me if there's a court case incoming as I doubt an ex-employee should have had to access to all of this stuff (you know, providing it's real lol!).

Either way, it's all extremely interesting and there are some seriously amazing minds thrashing all the info together. I love how this hack is bigger than the Uber one that the OP apparently was also responsible for yet I doubt this will make mainstream news (or maybe it will? We'll probably know in a few hours!)

True, but the firmware version seems to indicate it indeed was a PS4. It was discussed here, can't find it right now.
