I've put together a list of things I've noticed in the leaks so far:
 

• Map is located in Vice City (Miami) - looks huge, one video features a lake which IRL is quite far from Miami, perhaps the map features a bigger chunk of Florida
• At least 2 protagonists, Lucia and Jason, switchable characters, looks like you can call them to help you e.g. when robbing places
• New animations like prone, characters bracing in shootouts, an animation titled "overdose", animations referencing horses and horse riding
• Redesigned weapons wheel with additional slots for cigarettes, medicine, trauma kit...
• You can pick up/drop weapons, carry a duffel bag, looks like the weapon inventory will be more limited, lots of drug dealing references
• Cars have interiors with lots of detail and animations - seat, mirror, wheel, sun visor adjustments... 
• Robbing shipping containers, drilling locks
• Open interiors like motel, metro station, restaurants, pawn shop (selling stolen goods?), supermarket..., references of functional elevators
• References of RPG elements - food, drink, sweat, fatigue, animal taming...
• Mountain bike ramps references, city bikes renting
• Car damage looks to be more detailed, only 1 proper collision in the leak afaik so hard to say
• Boat damage tests - perhaps it will carry over from RDR2? Loved the physics there.
• Cloth (skirt) physics 
• Cops remember your vehicle model/plate, I hope San Andreas' respray to escape is not making a comeback lol
• Small robberies are full of detail, NPCs reacting to everything going on, cops surrounding the place without entering blindly
• A list of dynamic world events like missing tourists

I missed this so much lol

We also see some brief hand to hand combat, well, just a punch really. But I really hope they have some truly great and fun hand to hand combat this time, because it wasn't exactly great in 4 and 5.

Remember it's stil early build. Anything can be scrapped.

It would be extremely hard for sure! But one would think, assume and hope some random gaining access to internal documentation of such large company(ies) would be harder

Sorry, might not have been you but someone basically mentioned a gun being pointed and which way someone else would go with their decision.

You're completely correct again though, gaining access to all these files would be near impossible however as the story is told, they gained access to a single person's Slack account which then had access to R*'s slack channels. I've been in multiple companies now where internal docs are shared and discussed by uploading to slack and then forgotten about even being there. It's completely (and incredibly) plausible this is how all the documentation, files and videos were sourced. It might also explain why they are so old and dated around the time Lockdown (in the UK at least) hit. Perhaps they used Slack more than they usually would in order to work from home and keep the game's production moving and stopped using Slack after that period.

Again, the evidence is so strong that I strongly believe it's real since there's probably only a 1 to 5% doubt in my head someone went to the trouble to fake it so well. By all means, a chance is still a chance.

and i'd recommend cautiously optimistic in general, not because the LEAKS LOOK AWFUL WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE A VERSION MULTIPLE YEARS BEFORE RELEASE ISN'T POLISHED or anything dumb like that but not all features you see in these super early builds will make it to the release build, it's just how game dev goes

Yea you’re absolutely correct. We now have a very small taste of what they have in store. But all in all, their goal is to blow us away with the unexpected. Each iteration of GTA has to be drastically better or it won’t be worth it to them. They said that in some interview a while back, don’t really remember. But it makes sense that we should expect something bigger and better than GTA5 and RDR2 combined. They’ve had so much time to trial/error and find more of what the players want to see done. I’ll stay optimistic but realistic.

There's no indication of this Rakesh guy being the one who leaked. The linkedin profile deletion might be just to avoid spamming and unwanted attention from the fans. The same goes for all the names that appear in the debug lines. 

There's thousands of people involved in the project and all of them are required to put their names in the files, debug logs, etc. It's not uncommon to have such demand since it can help debugging and asking if anything goes wrong to the specific guy who made the system. It's the same policy in the game studio where I work.

This sh*twreck gonna just turn into harassment for these devs..

 

edit: for those wondering.. this will result into a NDA contract break and a multi-million fine. certainly jail. Good luck to the leaker.. ://
