i'd be careful being too optimistic, the most realistic scenario is the game is gonna auto adjust it depending on the character sitting in the car to prevent clipping

and i'd recommend cautiously optimistic in general, not because the LEAKS LOOK AWFUL WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE A VERSION MULTIPLE YEARS BEFORE RELEASE ISN'T POLISHED or anything dumb like that but not all features you see in these super early builds will make it to the release build, it's just how game dev goes
same goes the other way around there's probably a f*ckton of things we haven't seen at all

You never know. My point has nothing to do with code base, the internet is an elaborate place with zettabytes of data. There is no reason someone couldn't pull such a ruse off if they wanted to bad enough. I don't know why anyone would unquestionably say something is fact in these times without official proof. Yes , and don't forget about cut content that usually being cut from the final release. Maybe when the final release version is released , there is some feature that been seen on the leaked footage will not make it in the Final Release.

You're completely right. I can't say for sure it's real but the question was if I had a gun to my head and it was a choice between real or fake and the wrong answer got me shot... I'm going to say it's real and take my chances.

EDIT: I'm not saying it's fact either. Not sure where you got that from or if I gave that impression. I'm just way way way more convinced it's real than fake because of the evidence.

Definitely kinda bummed about the leaks and especially the source code leaks, don't get me wrong, the game does look good despite the footage being from early builds. It's just horrible for the employees and can cause further delays. People hating on the graphics need also realise that the game will look far better on release:

For those who think this is fake, as a game developer, I can say that even the effort for such a fake video takes years. 

Also I was here for the biggest leak of gaming history.

Edit: And also there's a reason it looks bad, usually the polishing part is the last thing done while developing the game, according to the dates in the videos, the cloth physics started to be added a few days ago. At this point it looks like they're getting into the polishing phase.

How does a company like Take-Two even address a leak of this magnitude? Besides the obvious private investigators they're about to use to try and find the responsible parties. At this point, acknowledging its legitimacy and making a statement about the builds not being a good representation of the final product is *maybe* the only real way to save face.
