Newest footage seems to be from a week or so ago, definitely from 2022 at least. The game is still a good while away, and if any critical source code has been obtained, well, it's definitely being delayed a long while out. 2026 - 2027 isn't too unlikely in that case.

They were aiming at around a 2024 release date based on their investor meetings.

I'll put my cup of tea here, on one side, im sad for R* that their project gets showcased, on the other hand, for all the sh*t they have been doing recently (GTA +, Removing Songs from older GTA Games through Update, Re-Re-Re-Re-releasing GTA 5 to earn more cash, Shutting Down Mods, GTA Definitive Edition and tons of more stuff) I feel a bit of Schadenfreude against them

What is that based on? I'm too lazy too look up the GPU driver versions in the videos and info like that.

I haven’t logged into GTAFORUMS in years and had to just to see if all the things about this GTA 6 leaks were real. Hard to deny it’s real and this puts Rockstar in such a weird position.

Oh geez. I didn't expect this at all, and I'm surprised no one has taken action yet for all of this.

Truly a legendary moment in the leaking history, but... this sadly will probably impact the game's release, and even more... I dunno how to feel about this.

It's literally from their own investor meeting. Obviously it's not a confirmed date, but it was aimed for 2024 - 2025

It sucks for R* employees but it is what it is at this point. I hope we'll see GTA 6 by the end of this decade at least...

Biggest sign of how much things must've changed over at Rockstar for a leak like this to finally happen. How many years of keeping things relatively airtight? Always had a few leaks here and there that folks who like to dig around would be privvy to, but nothing quite like this. 

 

The potential consequences are frightening.

If the source code has been leaked, then a delay is pretty much confirmed. Especially for a game that will likely have a massive online component to it. With the source code, you can pretty much do anything you want.

If it's the same Tea Pot that got Uber, I don't think this ones on Rockstar. They seem quite adept with their skills and probably used multiple SE methods to get access to the Slack
