GTA 6 (Americas) leak - 90+ .mp4 footage/videos

Are you disappointed too? I don't understand why everyone is happy, it's the same part 5... I think everyone was expecting another

exactly my thoughts

the first thoughts i had when i watched the leaks for the very first time, i was like "ok cool ... wait ... the "feeling/setting"(call it what you want to call it) is very close to what we already have with gta5/online ... and thats not a good first reaction

thats why i didnt hope for a modern day vice city ...... but i guess the game will be worth it no matter what

This isn't like ANY other fake we've EVER seen. Most are tiny tiny sh*t quality leaks but the amount of evidence and attention to detail in this leak completely out strips any leak, for ANY game, not just GTA, in, like, forever?

I am also convinced they're real. However I wouldn't go as far as going "It's unquestionably real" A dude that is smart enough to grab internal files would be smart enough to pull such an elaborate troll.

Fake leaks like this are.... extremely hard. The question you should always ask when video/screens of a game leak is "if it's not X, what is it?". So if it's not GTA VI, what is it?

 

So we have a map, assets, character models, animations in the footage, right? Do any of those assets look like they were pulled from another game? Are they easy available store assets? The answer to that question, despite these leaks being widely viewed by the GTA and wider gaming community, is no. These are bespoke assets as far as anyone can tell.

 

Then we have the debug stuff that is very reminiscent of what we know the debug stuff in prior R* games looks like.

 

So now the question is could someone fake that? Could someone go through that effort to make that map, the models, the animations? Sure, they could, I suppose, but it'd in all likelihood require a team and then the whole idea of this being a fake becomes silly because what team of developers (game dev, asset devs, animation, sound) are gonna spend their time making a fake of this magintude as opposed to.. you know, their own game?

 

We can never say this is 100% GTA VI cause we've got no official footage or screens of GTA VI, but given what we do know of GTA VI, what we do know of the footge we're seeing, it's then a case of the simplest answer is the correct answer, which is that it can only be GTA VI.

The oldest driver version I see through the videos is 461, which is from 2021, so at most a year and some ago. And all the videos seem to be somewhat consistent with the date they have in the name. Also, If you look at the last video you can see the difference with the first one. So I'd say that, if you only take into account the most recent ones, the games looks pretty decent for being under development IMO

This is what GTA V pre-alpha look like. No way, GTA VI look worse than RDR2, can not imagine how, lol!

So I think that the same way R* did for GTA VI, so don't judge this pre-alpha build so soon.

well i think it's just the name in the debug menu which won't be visible to players, it's probably just for the devs and idk if there could be any legal repercussion for it

My point was, if it's a question of Fake or Real and you get a bullet to the head if you're wrong.. the evidence for me leans me way more towards real. In fact I'm struggling to believe any reasons it could be fake as there's limited evidence.

Not sure how much you understand the codebase behind the game or the way game are made, but a lot of people (including myself) who have some sort of knowledge of it are completely convinced. Someone who hacks stuff isn't a skillset that can pull this kind of fake off.. and now we're seeing developers of the game making accounts private on twitter etc, there's too much going on now to make me lean back over towards it being fake. I'll have to take my chances based on the evidence... let's see if I'm headshotted in a few years no doubt lol
