IceEnhancer 3.0: Games for Windows Live loop on startup

I'm trying to run ICEEnhancer 3.0, on my 1.0.4.0 patch game. I have successfully gotten things to work w/ the original ICE 1.2 on it, so I know it's capable. It runs that ICE pretty well.

I get the "Games For Windows Live, returning to single player" error during the game load (after the loading screens) when utilizing ICE 3.0.

 

To recap what I did prior to that:

Got GTAIV CE from the Rockstar game launcher site.

Use GTADowngrader.exe to downgrade to 1.0.4.0 keeping all defaults. (Keep a backup of the original folder)

Download ICE 3.0 from the icelaglace site

Backup my GTAIV (v1.0.4.0) folder

Copy/paste all the files in the ICE 3.0 1.0.4.0 folder into the root of the GTAIV folder. Replace when asked.
Run launchgtaiv.exe. It runs, it judders at the start of the slideshow, but then smooths out, but then the Windows Live msg comes up, and no way to continue.

 

Most of the tips I see seem to be about disabling a launcher- but I thought I did that. Any then I know xlive or xliveless can play a part.  Any other suggestions, based on this info? Thanks

I run ICEEnhancer 3.0 on 1.0.7.0 without any problems.

 

And launch the game true "GTAIV.exe" not "launchgtaiv.exe"

 

You can try to add XLivelessAddon to disable Windows Live.

 

See if that works for you.
