How To Replace Red Dead Redemption 2 Sound & Ambience?

In GTA 3 I know you're able to access the wav files directly, make whatever changes, save and it just works as long as your timings right. I'm not sure the file structure for rdr2 but I'd hope its somewhat similar in that respect, Ive tried searching but from what I can tell its not that simple anymore. does anyone know how I could potentially replace the music/ambience in rdr2 with the ambience from rdr1?
