Clothing restrictions

“You must be wearing the proper *blank* in order to wear this outfit” Ugh! Don’t you all hate that? Anyway, I forget, just what do you do to get around those restrictions? I’m telling you, they’re a pain in the bloody arse!

You can always glitch certain components, or if you have PC magic, you can do pretty much whatever. Sad we have to resort to those things to get anything really nice.

I know right. It doesn't even tell you the clothes that you must wear. Feels strange that you can't wear a watch with a suit

I still don't get why you can't wear masks with hats... thx god the telescope glitch still works...

Even easier is the Arcade bed glitch for masks with accessories.

I’m not familiar with all the glitches. The only thing of note that I’ve noticed is if you’re wearing a mask or a bodysuit the mask magically comes off when drinking and then reappears. Funny little thing there

Can't change the colour of your shirt if you are wearing a waistcoat and jacket.

If it bothers you so much, why don't you start a thread about it? /s 

 

And there are so many outfits I just want to add a jacket to or have more flexibility in colors. It's really odd how they treat clothing in this game, especially women's clothing. Having a female protagonist will (hopefully) fix a lot of clothing issues because they'll design items for women from the start. GTA5 clothing system is outdated.

I get a bit annoyed by this as well. I’d love to be able to layer more clothing options.
