Mouse stuttering only when moving fast

This is an issue that I have had with a few games, but basically, everything is running perfectly fine, but if I move my mouse at any speed above a snail's pace, the game starts freezing for 1-2 seconds at a time. I have looked at nearly every post I could find about this with no luck. The game normally runs perfectly fine, and my computer is showing no issues about it at all. 

 

I have tried every method I have come across in my search, so please don't just link me to another post with a similar title. 

 

Ask me any question about my specs or my game settings, I just want to know why this is happening and how to fix it.

I had this exact issue a while back! In my case, I ended up tracing it to Windows 11, and had to downgrade - if you're using that I reckon that might be it... Changing your mouse's polling rate might help, based on other similar things I've read on Reddit and other places (doesn't look like this is widespread). Things that make it worse are overlays such as Discord and Steam, because the issue seems to be in one of the Windows modules that MS has changed with 11, it seems, as far as I've been able to "debug" it.
