Why do pedestrians attack you for no reason when you attack with explosions?

Honestly, I think GTA 3, VC and LCS are

the most unfriendly games i've ever played in my life. Like every time you go on a rampage or roleplay in this game with explosions, Why would pedestrians go after you and beat you up for no reason after blowing up cars? To me, That kills the fun for me in those games and it feels like everyone hates me in game for doing so and i don't know why the the pedestrians in the PS2 GTA games are this senstive and touchy? I still have PTSD from me playing GTA LCS on PS2 as a kid playing with the Pedestrians follow me cheat pretending to have allies and i remember when i was at Callahan Bridge, some random female pedestrian started beating me up for no reason and heard a quote saying "What do you think, I'm afriad of you?" and whispering under my breath pretending to be the pedestrian that attacked me and say "I'm so sorry for beating you up. Oh things lke this is the reason why i quit GTA for good and moved on to playing a much more friendly and more fun idiot-proof and high-quality game such as Lego Star Wars and never looked back.

What gives? Like why would the pedestrians be all that pissed and beat you up like a marked man for no reason? Not only that, but there's also an unrealistic physic that has been bothering me for 20 years since GTA III that NO ONE on the internet even knows. I've noticed that certain pedestrians in III/VC and LCS (MALE02 in GTA 3 for example in the trenchcoat and hat) act like heartless pricks like nothing happened and never ever run away scared from gunshots when you shoot from too far away. To me, That sounds unrealistic as hell and extremely frustating as it ain't realistic for a person to just walk like nothing happened because how would you feel if someone was shooting a gun? Yeah, You would run away scared as sh*t! Honestly stuff like this is why i think the PS2 GTA games are just the most unfriendly and unrealistic shoddy pieces of sh*t i've ever played and that's why R* doesn't know how to make games right.  And i'm glad i left that dross of a game behind! End of story!

They probably hate terrorists with a passion because 9/11 caused some changes to their game.

Also there's some kinda ped hierarchy going on in the game files where trenchcoat man is ranked the highest and thus never backs down for any reason. You can actually exploit this if you use cheats to switch to his skin, as hostile gangs won't bother you.

Gave me a chuckle.

Even for its era GTA3 wasn't considered particularly hard, there are a thousand more punishing experiences on the ps2 for you to enjoy. Give GTA2 and 1 a try for a reality check on how much easier it really was in comparison. Gaming in general has had a very steady drop in difficulty over the decades to the point where I can pretty much sleepwalk through most modern gaming experiences and not feel challenged. There's a few exceptions of course but it seems on the whole the communities attention span and motivation to complete something difficult has dropped to the point that if you can't day dream through a game in a handful of attempts most get frustrated and give up entirely.

sh*ts really not that difficult fr just pay more attention when you play. But if its too difficult for you and you'd enjoy more lego star wars then idk you do you bro

I agree. But I have to admit myself I changed in this way aswell. As a kid I had many games I was "stuck" on, and I'd stay stuck replaying levels, some games I never saw the later levels. Now if I'm stuck on a mission for more than 10 minutes not knowing what to do I look it up in a guide. As I aged my time just became too valuable to watch the same 5 minutes of a game over and over again.

Evil empire

The pedestrians attack you when you use explosives because they feel threatened and don't realise the smoke created gives them knowledge.
