Yea, that sounds less tin-foil hat than how I said it.

Opposite for me, I don't like the fact that after forty-five minutes I can come back and likely find only one Crate added to my warehouse. Special Cargo missions take at most ten minutes and are a guaranteed three Crates. For forty-five minutes I expect three Crates. There should have been two options; "Smash and Grab" and "Planned Raid". Smash and Grab would be what we have now but take half the time and give you between zero and three Crates and Planned Raid would be a guaranteed three Crates but take forty-five minutes.

7500 was not a random number, at least according to one post I saw.  One video I saw, the poster determined over a number of crate runs that 7500 averages the same as 18k for 3, which is why we mostly pull 1 to offset the 2's and 3's.  Regarding how long it takes, of course we would prefer less than 48 minutes.  But I don't think it is unreasonable as compared to the time it takes your staff to retrieve stuff for you in your night club.  It is now fairly quick to fill these warehouse if you send staff out and you mix in a run yourself.  Guess we will have to agree to disagree on that point.

Actually all fun mocking aside, I think the cool down timer is more than fair. I mean, if it were that easy to stack one assistant-source mission after another, you could fill up even 5 large warehouses in a day or two with little effort. In fact, if you really wanted to lol if you were able to bypass the cooldown timer, you could do it in a little over 90 minutes. That would be very unfair to people who actually want to grind these out. Say what you want about grinding crates, but there is a trade-off to doing it the way I am. You have nowhere near as much control over your destiny with these sell missions as you would if you were grinding them without assistance. It isn't even close. So the caveat is you have to actually grind the sh*t out of them if you want to complete them all, say in a week. But my way, which I much prefer, it may take a month or more.

@JumpingKentFlash, sorry, my math above was wrong. It would take a little more time. Assuming you DO NOT want to be a working class hero about it and decide to do all the work yourself, and you get an average of ten crates in three minutes like I get, it would be about 100 crates every 30 minutes or so. You would then have to grind this out for a little over 2.5 hours in total; But still, compare that with sourcing them all yourself, doing about 15 minutes per 3 crates, and assuming you lose none by accidentally blowing them up. It would take 37 source missions per 111 crate warehouse. it would average about 555 minutes or 9.25 hours per warehouse, which would be approximately 46.25 hours (REAL TIME!) of your own work to do five. large warehouses.

Plus, remember that the game charges you less if you have your assistants source them for you. If you pay $7,500.00 for an average of 2 crates per source (it is variable between 1 and 3 crates) or pay a flat $18K for sourcing three yourself, you are spending a small fortune filling up your warehouses, a lot more if you do all the work yourself, for some strange reason! LMAO the game rewards you for being lazy and making your assistants do it. I wonder if this is an oversight in the update and will be patched? I mean, if you want to be a working class hero, and grind this all out yourself, shouldn't you pay less than someone like me who refuses to grind this out? Here is an interesting stat I just calculated:

Assuming you lose zero crates and source/grind them all yourself, the cost is $666K per warehouse or $3.33 Million for 5 full warehouses. Yet, if you have your assistants do it, and maintain an average of 2 crates per source, it costs around $11,250.00 per 3 crates  (3,750.00 x 3 = $11,250.00) which comes out to $371,250.00 per large warehouse or $1,856,250.00 for 5! As much as I like to bust on righteously indignant grinders, that kind of doesn't seem fair to me. I do almost NONE of the work and pay a little more than half the money than a grinder. If I can fill my warehouses with so little effort, in all fairness, shouldn't I have to pay more than the average working class hero?

Edit: I like your name, by the way! The Stones are a great band!

Thanks. Yes I’ve been a Stones fan for 24 years now. Saw them 10 times since 1998, last time about a month and a half ago in Brussels. Great gig! Of course Charwas missing, but Jordan is filling in nicely. They even did Out Of Time. My dad, who I had brought along, was seriously welling up during that one.

Back on topic: I’m not sure I understand it right. I’ve filled my warehouse 1 time only about 2 weeks ago. Did it by sourcing from the office and sending Lupe out every time I had the chance. I have two large, two medium and a small.

Am I not seeing it right that this is the fastest way?

I don’t wanna be a working class hero - I just want everything with no effort 😂

Don’t know if my brain is fried, but that must be the fastest way.

@ACR I didn't know you could be raided if not a CEO/MC-Pres. Is that new with the update?

Happened to some people as i've read, i think it happened to me once because i saw red package cargo icon on the map without any notification (in invite only so was playing solo) and while not being CEO and i couldn't enter any place. Had several occasions when i couldn't enter anything so switched session just in case.

Stones are awesome. I love all the Keith Richards memes. lol

That said, I have always been more of a Grateful Dead fan than the Stones. Which is why it pissed me off to no end that in neither San Andreas or V they could be bothered to put a Dead tune on the classic rock stations. Especially since  there is even a neighborhood in Fierro called Garcia, obviously named after Jerry Garcia, since it is the GTA equivalent of Haight-Ashbury. Not to mention that a newer GTA station, I think it's Kult, has the DJ saying something about Grateful Dead noodling. lol

No, you have it 100% right. As I said in my last post, sourcing a ton of crates on your own gives you much more control over your Special Cargo Destiny, and you can certainly fill a lot more warehouses that way in a much shorter amount of time than I can. Your way, by the way, is the best of both worlds. You can benefit by doing it passively via your assistant, and actively via your own work. If you don't mind or if you like grinding crates, then your way is going to work much better than my way, which as I also said above, would mean I could probably take around a full month to fill all 5 of my large warehouses. So you should do it your way, as you at least have some fun with it, right?

Yeah, being a working class hero in a videogame is of dubious fun! But to your other points, those are two competing sentiments. The fastest way, which is grinding, as we both agree, is NOT the one "with no effort". All my kidding aside, you have to choose one, it's a trade-off. If you need to do it fast, then you will have to put in a great deal of effort. If, on the other hand, you were like me, and could literally not care any less about the speed at which the warehouses fill, then 100% passive is the way to go. So you have a choice to make. Go the effortless, no-grind way that I do, or do the grind, which you can complete much sooner than I ever can, but you kind of have bust your ass a little. Your way of doing both sounds like a great compromise.

It happened to me once, where I was outside, had the mission music playing, and all mission icons were gone. Luckily I knew what was going on since there were five big, red target icons on my mini-map where I had to go and retrieve my nightclub stock.

It did it to me in an invite only session. I was goofing around in a police chase and only got a notification after I was raided

The only way to be protected of cargo raids is becoming a MC pres it seems. Because i completly emptied all my MC businesses, i can only get raided in the Nightclub now. So it is smart to only become MC press if the warehouses are full and you wait for a double event. I just never become a CEO anymore, until all my 5 large warehouses are empty again.

According to multiple people since this broken update your warehouses can get raided both as MC and CEO or even if you are not registered as anything at all.

Nothing CEO related can get raided while you are a MC pres, that is technically impossible. Your MC businesses also can't get raided while you are a CEO.

I been raided 2 times since the update, and both times i wasn't CEO or MC pres, but since i always been MC pres whenever im in free roam, i never got raided again.

Hmm maybe it only works one way, not getting the CEO warehouses raided while being MC pres. But not the other way around. But honestly who gives a sh*t about MC businesses, all they should be used for is to make it possible to accrue all goods for the Nightclub. I can't understand ppl that still have ANY stock in their MC businesses. It's nothing but a waste of time.

Just had a ghost raid at a full warehouse while doing a business battle. It stalled the business battle and i lost 28 crates. And i was not in a ceo/mc. Filed my 8th complaint on this with R* Support and they gave the usual reply of "it's not us, it's you" crap. The only reason i started doing crates again was due to them being half off a few weeks ago.

Don't you need to keep supplying these businesses in order for them to feed the nightclub warehouse?

No they only need to be active, but can be empty. All my 5 businesses are completly empty.

Sure i pay 22500 or something daily fees to keep them active, but hey the Nightclub safe keeps getting filled with 50k daily. If i keep the popularity up, and i get 20k from the Agency and 5k from the Arcade. So i don't even temporarily lose money.

Do you have them all running, not just the top three? I only have three MC businesses (plus Bunker and Hangar) and my daily fees are less than that, I think. IMO, the MC daily fees killed doing anything as a MC up until this last DLC. Cutting those in half and making income easier (Nightclub and Agency passive incomes) means It's not completely insane to stay MC forever.

I got them all running yeah, and it's not 22500 it's 21300 or something. I don't give a sh*t about the daily fees tbh, but newer players might care.

Just got done helping in a heist mission, thus not a ceo, dropped into an empty invite only lobby and saw the red crate right away. Was on the east end of sandy shores. Took a minute for the warning text to show and the assistant call. Half way to the west vinewood warehouse I fail the raid. Less than two minutes from when I got the warning. Lost about 20 crates and this was as soon as I past the 77 crate trigger limit for raids.

If you can't enter any interior (apartments, businesses, ls car meet, casino, etc) switch session immediately even if you don't see red crate icon, goes without saying you should do the same when you see red crate icon. If you switch session while warehouse raid is active you won't loose any crate AFAIK.
