Rockstar, please revert the Angelo Bronte glitch back to its original functionality!!!

Original RDR2 players from back in the day and new players who don't install any updates at all may be familiar with the Angelo Bronte glitch, it's a glitch which allows us to explore New Austin earlier with Arthur by completing the mission "Angelo Bronte, A Man of Honor" being spotted by the police inside the cemetery. For some reason Rockstar disabled this glitch way back in the day with Patch 1.06, I was the first player to ever report upon this so I remember exactly which patch it was, taking away the fun of being able to explore New Austin with our favorite main character and completing Del Lobo's gang hideouts, hunting the remaining legendary animals and fish and just enjoying the desert environment overall. Now that you basically ended RDO's support and won't make any major updates for it anymore, I ask you to please release a small patch reverting this glitch back to its original functionality, what you've done was make the gold medal objective "Don't get spotted by the law." be completed regardless of us being spotted by them or not, by reverting this glitch back to its original form you'll be adding a lot of fun back into the game without really doing much as I'm sure this won't take much of a developer's time to adjust.

I'm posting this here on GTAForums because I know Rockstar employees visits this website sometimes and also to encourage other players to send this message to their support as I'm sure this would make us all have a lot of fun by being able to do this glitch again.

Well, this request may also work as an appeal to them to just make the area normally accessible, perhaps by making only Great Plains a wanted dead or alive location and letting us cross Tall Trees normally into it, but that's probably asking too much.

I just disable the sniper and forced wanted functions via RampageTrainer. PC players need not ask big daddy Rockstar up top to un-patch something that will never be un-patched.

The thing is... not everyone is a PC player, myself included, so we have to ask "Big Daddy Rockstar".

Never gonna happen. Only way to do stuff like that now is mod on PC. Really sad it's that way, but that's the way it is, and has been for years now.

It don't cost anything to try, either they'll address this issue or it won't be necessary anymore because of GTA 6 eventually.

It took 6 months to fix the cold clothing bug that one of the RDO updates "introduced". It has been ~ a year since then; at this point, sadly, I'm 100% certain that R* is not going to bother touching the single player mode in any meaningful way, let alone reimplementing a beneficial glitch. At least there are workarounds for the PC version via mods/scripts, but it's still a shame that console players are out of luck (aside from using the unpatched disc version, which also leaves users with digital copies SoL).

Not being able to freely explore New Austin as Arthur is the single dumbest thing in this game. Could be that there's a locked max bounty and we often get hunted by Pinkertons or whatever, but this invisible sniper sh*t is just stupid.

Tell me about it, even the older GTA games let us explore the locked parts of its maps without being instantly killed, I don't know where Rockstar took this idea from, it's so stupid so stupid so stupid.

This, lemme be able to lose the cops, it makes no sense for you to be spotted or shot at the entire time.

Yessss... and it's not even an actual sniper you can escape or kill, it's your freaking camera shooting at you
