Why is my game crashing?

Good morning all, i've finally decided to start playing GTA V on PC but for some odd reason when I play online it often crashes (after completing races/missions) or even if I Alt+Tab out the game it's like the game can't handle it and I come back to a black screen then it returns me to the desktop. This game runs at 60FPS at Very High settings but i'm currently running on normal. The game runs smooth, no lag, nothing so I dont understand.

If you need anymore information just ask. I really want to play this and it's quite annoying that I can't.

(The only thing I dont have is the required disk space, but I already have it installed.)

You could try to uninstall your nvidia driver with DDU in safemode.

 

And after you installed the latest nvidia driver again, you could try to delete the temp and cache data with this.

 

After this you have to enter your email address and password in the Rockstar Games Launcher again, so make sure you still know what your email address and password is.

Before you start the game, you should verify your game files, just in case.

 

And if this doesn't help, and the game still crashes, then try to contact the Rockstar support, they probably won't be able to help you at all, but it might be worth a try. They most probably just tell you to reinstall the game, but that doesn't help at all.
