AkshayKumar
There are hundreds of songs in each GTA title so it's no doubt a hard choice and the answer may change on a given day. I still thought I'd ask and see what people may say. Which is that song that featured in the series, that you can't get enough of? If you had to name just one from the entire series, as crazy as that sounds? I wanted to ask this because I kind of got this revelation that though my favourite stations are Wave 103 (VC) and K Rose/K DST, the one song I can't get enough of and which gets me going everytime is Made me go whoa, and also got me interested in what others come up with. Someday. Someday. Someday. DOMINION! UnderMeister, Ivan1997GTA, jonhyosbourne and 4 others 6
Donald Lov
Nice choice, man. For me, it's definitely Crockett's theme, but let's pretend it doesn't count, because utilizing one of the key Miami Vice tunes for a game set in 80s' Miami is pure cheating. Aside from that, I still have to go with a pretty obvious choice: I go crazy every time it's on. I just can't help myself. HUH I JUST DIED IN YOUR ARMS TONIGHT! Guest
It's a catchy song on its own, fits the 80s Vice City vibe so well, GTA VC was my gateway to being introduced to 80s music, this song wouldn't seem out of place in other GTA games either, and the chorus also kinda describes my relationship towards Rockstar since the success of GTAO. Spoiler Also featured on the soundtrack of Saints Row 2, an open world franchise that also has taken a turn for the worse since the 2010s. BrynnaDaRosa
Dominion/Mother Russia is definitely my father's favorite, if anything. What's funny is that as i was really carefully thinking about this, I narrowed it down to like, three different songs on LRR and another on LSRR. But it was pretty clear to me that Goodbye Horses was always gonna be my answer. Night Moves was definitely a runner-up, though. Not counting the GTAO additions, or else it would probably be Crack Rock or When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You? or something. My first full playthrough of GTA IV was magical because of this song. Edited October 7 by BrynnaDaRosa AkshayKumar
sabitsuki
The vice city theme. It's just so iconic and an absolute earworm. One of the most recognizable game tunes of all time second only to the mario overworld theme. Edited August 20 by sabitsuki AkshayKumar
Bella Odessa
While I LOVE the entirety of Emotion 98.3 (well you couldn't go wrong with a lot of songs/stations in Vice City), this gem from GTA III will always have a place in my heart: AkshayKumar and Ivan1997GTA

ValerianMoog
Goth stuff, 80s or modern, is so ignored in the whole series. Still amazes me this fits as well as it does in IV's world. The whole echoey sound really works well with all of it. The Tracker and AkshayKumar 1
Cutter De Blanc
I keep coming back to "Runnin' Down a Dream" by Tom Petty as my immediate first choice offhand, without giving it any real consideration I think there might be tracks that I like more, but this one is pretty quintessential AkshayKumar and H-G
H-G
Finding GTA3's overall vibes and atmosphere pretty relatable on a personal level to myself, I'd like to go with this song: Or alternatively, this: AkshayKumar 1 H-G's Workshop https://gtaforums.com/topic/905964-h-gs-workshop/
sabitsuki
There's just something so atmospheric about this song that fits in really well with the 90s California vibe of San Andreas and the slow paced driving and flying. Mister Pink
I love K-Rose. Previously I said I wouldn't have liked country. San Andreas absolutely changed that. I can't really say I have one favourite. There are just some gems that give me absolute GTA nostalgia. Dance Hall Days and Out of Touch, Young Turks, Eminence Front.. there are too many classics to name. So hard to pick one so just going to a track (one of a few) that inspired me to listen to more Funk, thanks to Bounce FM On a side note, I've had the pleasure of catching a few artists and even meeting some that feature on GTA sountracks. I met Juan Atkins aka Cybotron "Clear" as heard on Vice City, and smoked with him in the green rooom. He also played "Supernature" in his set which was double nice! Francois K, I have seen live. Cypress Hill, I've met on the street. Public Enemy, I've seen live. Max Romeo, I've seen live. Depeche Mode, I've seen live. Chemical Brothers, I've seen live Aphex Twin, I've seen live Chic, I've seen live LCD Soundsystem, I've seen live (Snoop Dogg) I have tickets to see NightmanCometh96, Ehrmantraut and AkshayKumar 2 1 RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)
universetwisters
STRIPE SUMMER is my favorite. Not only do the unintelligible lyrics reminds me of some Cocteau Twins tier sh*t but also its the first song you hear in GTA 3. Such an iconic song for an iconic game and the first game that got me into gaming AkshayKumar and NightmanCometh96 1

I was under the impression they just used in house music for their older games. I was always partial to this one as well though, I don't think this is licensed: AkshayKumar
