Crew Rank set to -1 and Global RP set to -5,000,000 in Stats. Regular RP is untouched. Why did this happen?

So I want to bring some attention to this glitch since Rockstar Support is useless and told me to wait for it to be fixed (which could be never)

Basically, my crew rank got set back from 65 to -1 and now it won’t progress at all. Decided to go to my stats and it says that my global RP is sitting somewhere in the -5,000,000’s. My regular RP is untouched sitting at 89 https://mobdro.bio/ https://kodi.bio/.

After contacting Rockstar Support, they said to play in another crew and accumulate levels, then switch over the other one and it should work. Did this, didn’t work, so now my crew is just stuck at -1 Rank because Rockstar told me “just be patient” but we all know that this problem is pretty low on their list of priorities right now so it could never get fixed.

Anyone else have this issue and is there a fix for it?

Yeah crew ranks were bugged since forever and R* don't care. It can get even more scuffed if you play 2 characters. Switching between them can result in a bug which doubles crew rank/playtime occasionally. Back in the day cheaters could set your rank to negative hundreds of millions and even then R* did nothing. So yeah just ignore it. Or keep playing on the new crew if you need some custom colours or whatever.
