Madd Dog Keeps Dying ON the Boxes when he lands WTF?!!?

My buddy texts me and tells me he's done it.

 

He's used so many cheats he cannot pass the mission Madd Dogg. He's playing the Xbox OG version.

 

The Internet will tell you horror stories that go on to this very day that using cheats not only will keep you from completing the game, but it will ruin your disc and possibly your console. You will need a priest and 8 golden stones to revert the damage done. This is facts copy pasted on wiki articles, reddit and other GTA sites.

 

What WE know is using "Pedestrians Riot" and saving will in fact, cause Madd Dogg to jump early to His death before you can get to that sweet ass bullet proof Walton truck we will never use but save in a garage for some reason. We know this because smart people have seen it changes the coding / behavior.

 

So obviously I asked if he used the pedestrian codes at any point of his game and His answer was no. He's used Infinite health, never hungry and a few weapon codes. His total amount of cheats used was 178. These cheat codes don't stop you from completing the game, nor do they stop you from completing Madd Dogg. I know this because I did a cheat test on every version of this game up to 2018 and still got 100%.

 

So what IS happening?

 

He sends me a video, after the cut-scene He gets into that awesome unique colored white Walton....backs into the spot He needs to be and sure enough.....Madd Dogg jumps onto the boxes and you can hear all his bones break and He dies! Mission Failed!!! He even did the DO NOTHING trick and still Madd Dogg hits the truck and dies.

 

My boy is furious. He got this far. Gold medals on all vehicles, all oysters, gang tags, photos and racing missions completed. Does cheating TOOOO much really matter?

 

We officially (LOL) was recently told 250 was the ultimate limit. But, He's at 178...a far cry from that. I will also dispute that this year.

 

I go to His house and we boot up the game. He passes me the controller, I check for any drifting that may have off set the truck. No drift. Sweet. I start the mission.

 

I get into the bullet proof Walton truck and I pull forward into the marker. I do nothing else. I'm lazy. I have played this game 2,000 times and do things from memory. Madd Dogg lands into the truck and survives to play more roles in Law and Order SVU. My friend doesn't understand and neither do I.

 

My friend is excited! He claims I'm obviously some kind of GTA master wizard from the Dark Ages of gaming and goes and completes the mission and saves before the God of Xbox decides to take it back.

 

I'm still confused....why did He fail when I had Him do the same thing I just did? Do nothing. That's how I got ahead at my job.

 

I watched the video he sent me again...he BACKED into the MARKER and His truck was REVERSED. So it's a polar opposite of what we are used to seeing. I always drive INTO the marker.

 

So, if we back into the marker it SEEMS the mission isn't passable? He went and saved the damn game so I was not able to see if it's possible to complete it.

 

I checked all over and no one made this connection. 18 years almost and no one noticed this?

It’s an interesting theory tbh. I wish I still my 360 that had the OG San Andreas on it to test this theory. Although I could probably get my hands on an emulator to test this. The series is notorious for random ass glitches and stuff so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the issue. Pertaining to the peds riot cheat. If you kill everyone on the ground before you try to catch him, he goes back to normal as he will have no one to go after.

I have almost every single version of San Andreas you can think of lmao I have almost 30 copies of this game. The problem is I've been out of the game of testing and SNP since like 2017. No one has seemed to notice backing up into the marker sets the truck backwards, and no YouTube tutorial attempts this that I have seen.

 

However one person on Reddit claims if this "glitch" happens typing the slow mo cheat in will prevent him from dying on the boxes. Something else I want to check out.

I saw that too. That mission seems to have a lot of bugs for some reason for being such a simple mission.
