The cars I drive the most recently are the Krieger, Ignus, Torero XO, Tezeract, Itali RSX, and sometimes Jester RR.

Which car is best for races?

Super: Krieger

Sports: Itali gto

Muscle: Dominator Asp, upcoming Vigero seems better

Sedan: Shafter v12

Off-road: Bf400 or Dragur

Compact: Club

Tuners: Track dependant, Vectre, Calico, Sultan RS classic, Jester RR

Utility: Bison

Coupes: Previon

Boats: Jetski

Planes: Lazer

Helicopter: Supervolito maybe the new one

Motorcycle: Shotaro

Does that cover everything?

Isn't Buffalo STX the newest Meta in Muscle class?

Also 811 is best Super in most Stunt Races on PC, because of high FPS and suspension glitch. Torero XO also is faster with more FPS. Banshee 900R has the absolute highest top speed on PC, but only with 160-170 FPS.

Itali RSX is best Sports in most Stunt Races on PC, also because of high FPS and suspension glitch. On consoles i think the Pariah is still king.

Kamacho is more stable to drive than Draugur in Offroad Races, because it doesn't fall over so easily.

Retinue Mk2 is still the best in Sports Classics class.

It's always a bit tricky to choose the right car, because console and PC are completly different if it comes to cars performances.

And that's why Broughy's videos are worth dogsh*t for PC players.

The Ignus and S95 aren't available on PC, the ps5 and xsx community I imagine are a minority compared to pc/ps4/xbo

Is it not track depend too?

The best response is, it depends, because there is no easy answer for this question. Broughy1322 has a YouTube channel dedicated to it, spent hundreds of hours testing cars as almost his full time job, and he gives a performance meter for cars on his track only, with the top speed tests being universally valid, but they don't cover stuff like variable FPS and glitches like a lowered benny's Sabre Turbo. While the answer, for example, for the best suppers would be the Krieger and Emerus, this don't take into account the fact that if you are in a race with collision, the Nero Custom might be a good option if you don't want to be spun around or if you are in an off-road race, the BF 400 is the fastest, but people will run over you with their Camachos and Draugurs. Also have in mind that all these advanced flag changes, make some underdogs better.

This is my list, based on my personal experience:

Open Wheel: BR8.

Arena War: The DeathBike (if you wanna risk being one shoted by Kinectic Mines), and the ZR380.

Super: Krieger and Emerus, with the late being easier to drive and more consistent, Nero is an honorable mention for being a "tank" and the Tesseract for not being affected by catchup.

Super Stunt: Deveste Eight and the honorable mentions of cars affected by FPS as the 811 and Banshee.

Super Next Gen: Weaponized Ignus

Sports: Itali GTO and Pariah

Sports Stunt: Pariah with it's top speed, but there is track dependent variables, where for example the track "off-road," favors the Sultan RS for it's low grip loss on dirt.

Sports Next Gen: S95.

Sports Classic: Turismo Classic (Specially if HSW is on) for circuits and the Z-Type for long road like races, honorable mention to the Deluxo, that would take that place from the Z-Type if, it would be raceable in normal races.

Muscle: Buffalo STX, upcoming Vigero from what people have been talking, will demolish everything, and with being the new power creep, with HSW on top of it.

Sedan: Shafter v12, with an honorable mention being the Tailgater S on small tracks, but we have a lot of Sedans in the drip feed that might take the podium from these.

Off-road: Bf400 or Dragur with an honorable mention to the Sasquatch that unfortunately is not raceable.

Compact: Club.

SUV: While the Toros is the best, good luck getting it on a leash, and for better control the Novak is the one.

Coupe: Previon.

Tuners: Calico on tracks with longer straights, Vectre on tight ones, Sultan RS classic on balanced tracks.

Utility: Saddler for circuit, and with the original Faggio wheeling being 3 miles per hour faster than the Saddler, the late is best for long straight lines.

Boats: Longfin for it's insane top speed

Planes: Pyro (fastest vehicle in the game) and the Alpha-Z1 for tight tracks.

Helicopter: Akula, Swift Deluxe (for races locked with civilian aircraft only).

Motorcycle: Hakuchou, Shotaro (for tight tracks).

If you want to do transform races, or specific race types, consider getting vehicles like the: Issi Classic, Stronberg, Deluxo, Oppressor, Blazer Aqua, Ultra-light, Hotring Saber, Havok, Molotok, Rocket Voltic.

Stop messing around, this is a trick question.

Clearly the best VEHICLE for racing is the Faggio.

Is the Nero really worth a honorable mention when the Deveste Eight is 1.5 times as heavy?

Kidding aside, I've won a couple of Transform races because I was the only one with customized Faggio Sport.

I love the D8 anyway, but now it's had a good Hao-ing, it's even more brutal and gorgeous than before. The others are nice, like the new Lambos, but  they feel a bit sterile somehow, the D8 screams and gets my vote for enjoyment.

This is always the right answer. There are usually at least two different "best" vehicles for each category. Something for courses with turns and something for courses with straights. There are also other factors such as one for off road tracks or a car with heavier weight to discourage other drivers from bumping you around.

Per Broughy the Cinquemila is the new best lap time Sedan. Shafter v12 for courses with straights.

Any speculation on if the two new coupes will challenge this?
