Best vehicle minimum set - regardless of price

I would like to get a feeling for what is the minimum set of top vehicles that I should aim for.   Maybe the experts can help.

 

Basically I currently have my initial car, the CEO free cars, the Kosatka free vehicles, the free Dodo and plan to get the Sparrow pretty soon (and maybe - not sure - a good not too expensive motorcycle as I find the free Sanchez a bit too slow).  Those may not be the best but they are adequate while developing my business.   After that I plan to save a stash for this minimum set of top vehicles if they go on sale, and otherwise pour my money onto business growth.

 

So, what is the smallest set of "top" vehicles to satisfy all needs?   Ideally, also why you think this is the smallest set, for example.. a good "something" might take the place of two other things and in average be as good or better.

It kind of depends on what activities you're doing. PvP, PvE, grinding? Here's my list for grinding and PvE.

• Sparrow
• Oppressor MK2
• Armored car for missions: Armored Kuruma or an Imani tech vehicle would be best.
• Top vehicle for each class you do racing in:
  • Krieger or an HSW for Super.
  • Itali GTO for Sports.
  • Turismo Classic (HSW) for Sports Classic.
  • Draugur or BF400 for Off-Road races.
  • Etc. 

After that are the nice to haves. Some might be more "necessary" but I call them nice to have because the missions you'll use them in don't come up that often or supply vehicles to use.

• Favorite car to drive.
• Buzzard for CEO spawning. It's a good backup for the Sparrow and Oppressor MK2.
• Dingy so you can spawn it from the CEO menu in addition to the free Kosatka Dingy.
• Bati 801 is still one of the fastest motorcycles and it's cheap. Otherwise go for HSW Hakuchou Drag or Shotaro.
• Jester RR for Auto Shop contract missions. 
• Toreador for any underwater missions.
• Mule Custom and Pounder Custom for Night Club deliveries.
• Cargobob Jetsam for missions when you can carry other vehicles. Jetsam because it's quieter than regular Cargobob.
• Hydra for quick grinding with a VTOL jet, but it's mostly obsolete due to the Oppressor MK2.
• Phantom Wedge for missions where you need a semi truck.

I suggest my basic grinding Holy Trinity (land, air and water):

Patriot Mil-Spec with ImaniTech, fully upgraded Sparrow, and Kosatkas' free Dinghy.

The BF400 is the best overall cheap bike imo. It's only $95k (although another $200k or so to max it out). It's fast enough that it can handle Time Trials. It's wheelie is also really useful once you master it. You can hop over most waste high fences and barricades in the game and create your own shortcuts.

The APC fits so many boxes and is often overlooked. It's a tank, a boat and a land vehicle all in one. Just aim your back end at enemies, and it's bulletproof. Once upgraded it's reasonably fast. People forget or don't realise it can drive on water.

Most useful plane/jet is Hydra. Because of it's explosive MG's and vertical fly mode.

Most useful helicopters are Buzzard, Sparrow and Sea Sparrow to land on water. Or Savage if you really need to kill things, it has explosive MG's and missile spam. Havok is also useful, it can land almost everywhere because of it's small size.

Most useful cars are Toreador (because of unlimited missiles and it can swim and dive), Armored Kuruma because it's bulletproof, Duke O'Death is only semi bulletproof, but it's still useful, it can ram things very well. And currently while the bug lasts Stirling GT it's 100% bulletproof atm. Deluxo has it's uses too, because it can fly, but very slow.

 

Most useful bike i guess for starters it's the Bati later it's useful to own an Oppressor Mk2, just for travelling fast, not to fight, because it's pretty sh*tty since the nerf.

 

Else cars and bikes are only meant to cruise around or racing, i mean it depends what you need.

 

There will always be new metas, doesn't really make much sense listing the current metas.

Sounds like it might be perfect for solo crate recovery in the water or when there are multiple crates to grab during a warehouse resupply which typically require 3 trips ... If you can fit them in the 15 mins available.

You can't, no vehicle can. The Avenger used to be able to due to an exploit, but that was patched ages ago. If you have three people you can grab all three, one each and everyone will fit in the APC if that's what you mean?

 

I am biased because I love it, but the best vehicle, hands down, for Cargo Sourcing is the Thruster Jetpack.

You should be able to use commercial/non weaponised vehicles to at least carry 2 cargo items. Then you’d have the choice between slow and defenceless but able to collect all in one go versus multiple trips but able to defend against attackers

Toreador: fits 4 people, have a rocket boost and it's fast, you can do missions on water and land with it, has armor, have a unique parking spot for it, is usable in heist setups and missions, and the list go on.

 

Kuruma: the only truly non glitched fully bullet proof car for PVE.

 

Deathbike: Power creep of Arena War is you want to play it, the jump skill makes the CEO job ramped up trivial and solo.

 

Sparrow: For air missions and conveniency.

 

Bati 801: Dirt cheap, you can race with it and do time trials.

 

Calico GTF: For playing tunner content.

 

and if racing is your thing, one of the fastest of each class and some vehicles that appear a lot in the transform races and such, like for example the Blazer Aqua.

You should be able to use the Delivery vehicles if you bought them like the Brickade, Titan and Tug to carry all the Supplies. Pick one up and get in the vehicle, and it's transferred to that vehicle.
