Best map location to operate from? (long term, not initial)

There are a lot of guides that recommend one location or another for the many businesses, apartment and facilities, but I have not seen one focused on the best place to "ultimately" operate from in the map.

Could the experts voice their opinion on the best location to center these things around (in terms a noob might understand please) without considering the purchase price?  And maybe an explanation as to why you think that particular location is better than the rest.

EDIT:  I probably should mention that I DO NOT play in public sessions (only on crew or invite only), so I don't have to worry about attacks.

I'm no expert but I've been clustered round Lombank West office, quieter than other parts. Parachute to personal aircraft or avenger from the roof, arcade and nightclub are there, plenty of nearby car storage.

Farmhouse is the best Bunker location. Because it's the shortest distance to the city.

Maze Bank Tower or Arcadius are the best offices. Because it's very central.

Nightclub at the Vinewood Boulevard somewhere, is the best location well for Nightclubs. Because you often have to drive vips to somewhere in the desert while doing bouncer missions.

The cheapest Vehicle Warehouse is the best, because if you drive through the 2 gates, you can park the I/E car in a specific safe spot, and then shoot the NPC's that attack you. Well or you just use a cargobob.

If you want to own any cargo warehouses, buy them at the docks where you usually deliver the daily simeon cars to, just somewhere there in the Vagos territory, it's the closest to the docks, if you wanna deliver mixed goods there.

Whatever you do, just don't buy any properties in Paleto Bay!

This is exactly what most guides seem to say of places "individually".

It is also roughly where I've been going.  My office is at Maze Bank, my bunker is indeed Farmhouse, and I own the cheapest small warehouse (the 250k one) and the Darnell Bros large one.  I also got the sub but that is mobile.

The reason I started this thread is that even this early in the game I am already getting tired of driving from one place to the other - outside of a job or mission - in order to do things.  It "feels" like I am too spread out and should try to concentrate my stuff in one area.  I was *guessing* near Darnell Bros because of the fast access to the major highways, casino, etc.  But I am aware that I might have the wrong impression, influenced from early game pains.

Rockford Hills Arcade.

You can do almost everything you need from this spot as far as sourcing or selling. You have a safe you can raid and snacks to grab. It's extremely close to many apartments, CEO offices, Agency offices, nightclubs, and cargo and vehicle warehouses. The casino isn't far away. Zancudo (for jets) and LSIA (for whatever) are equidistant. It's also not far from the Chumash bunker and the Zancudo facility.

I actually own the Davis arcade but I think as far as convenience and amenities, the Rockford Hills arcade is pretty solid.

I switched to the Nightclub at the Docks,  as its closest to where the Aircraft carrier & The Foundry are.  ALL my stock comes from them.

(I can clear the Carrier so quickly,  grabbing ALL creates)

Bunker in the Senora Desert...... and are only sell to Blaine County.

I drive through La Mesa and it feels like I own half of it sometimes

i also own most of Elysian island but I don’t recommend that location. It was good for import export cos of the rail access

You can get clump most of your stuff in La Mesa on that long street on the right side of the map. This is what I'd do if I was starting over.

Office: Arcadius - Central and as close as you can get to all your properties on the right side of the map.

Cargo Warehouses: Darnell and Logistics - Fairly close together on the right side of the map. Start crate sourcing missions from Arcade next to Darnell and Terrorbyte parked at Logistics.

Vehicle Warehouse: La Mesa - Cheapest and on the right side of the map.

MC Clubhouse: La Mesa - On the right side of the map, but it really doesn't matter unless you actually care about Bike Delivery for $50k and Supplies for $30k.

MC Businesses: all in Sandy Shores - Obsolete businesses, cheapest locations, only needed for Night Club, supplies can be purchased from Arcade if doing sales, and easiest sales missions.

Bunker: Farmhouse - Closest to town on the right side of the map.

Hangar: any in Fort Zancudo - Prevents you from getting a wanted level when flying over Fort Zancudo. Can ignore business.

Facility: Grand Senora Desert - Center of the map with a quick drive to town. Reservoir and Wind Farm are closer to town, but a pain to drive to.

Nightclub: La Mesa - It's on the right side of the map.

Arcade: Videogeddon - It's in La Mesa right next to the Darnell cargo warehouse and close to the Casino.

Auto Shop: La Mesa - It's on the right side of the map.

Agency: Hawick - Closest to all your properties on the right side of the map. Has best entrances for ease of access.

I have my Business arranged to grind and sell starting from the low right corner of the map to the middle section on Chumasch, kind of around the 'borders' of the City.

I visit most of my properties in the order I wrote below to sourcing, management, collecting cash or doing sales if necessary.

Most properties have another one around 3 blocks or less.

- 5 crate warehouses and the La Mesa vehicle warehouse around Popular St., starting from Darnell Bros. down to Cypress Flats. Los Santos Car Meet is near and Auto Shop is 5 blocks ahead.

- Rancho Auto Shop and the Biker Clubhouse a block ahead. Direct access to LSIA Hangar using Exceptionalist Way and 4 blocks from Arcade.

- Davis Arcade, two blocks from Arena Workshop and access to Agency through Rockford Drive around the Canals.

- Vespucci Canals Agency, close to the beach and apartment, and just one block to Nightclub.

- Del Perro Nightclub close to Pier, 2 blocks from CEO Office and 3 blocks from Weazel Plaza heist apartment. The highway tunnel below leads to the Casino Penthouse (East) and Chumasch (North)

- Lombank West CEO Office; the best views from any property in my opinion and direct access to Bunker through the west coast highway.

- Chumasch Bunker. One of the best locations to Bunker sales. Next to the beach and highway, close to a Kosatka spawn point for quick travel. A heist teleport to the apartment will get you back to the City in seconds.

- The Windfarm Facility is far from everything but could be accessed back and forth from the City with heist teleports.

Note: I'm not interested on Elite Challenges, but if you want them then there's guides to the best Apartment for each OG Heist.  Videogeddon is arguably the best arcade to Elite Casino heist and close to my crate warehouses, but Davis Arcade blends much better with the rest of my business to grind back to back.

An Arcade in the middle of the city with the Master Control Terminal should serve as your central hub as you can, as the name states, control all your business from there. Chumash Bunker is a fair compromise between price and location and is directly next to a main road.

The main thing is that you should have all your business in or very close to the city. You will pay more initially, but you will save time and head aches in the long run. Unless you intend to spam the Doomsday Heists the location of your Facility is a none issue, just don't, as people have said, have anything in Paleto if you can.

The Docks Nightclub is out of the way but still in the city and has loads of space for landing flying vehicles for easy access.

Yeah owning a lot in the east part of the city is very useful. I own 3x10 slot garages, 3 large warehouses, vehicle warehouse and workshop there. It really feels weird driving down that street where the LSCM is located, owning so many properties there.

If you don't want to tear your hair out and what I think is the main difference between those that like Biker Businesses and those that don't is the location. It's a huge start-up, but you want your Businesses as close to the city as possible. The Biker deliveries are boring and tedious but they taker a fraction of your time and sanity if the starting locations are closer.

Sounds like the golden spot is the east side of the city, near the highway intersections or in the line toward the port.

If so, then all I will need to move is my CEO office (initially Maze bank).   My bunker is Farmhouse, I have the 250k and Darnell Bros warehouses, and the sub can be moved.  My garage is also there.

This is how i sell my I/E cars from the cheapest Vehicle Warehouse.

And that is why it's the best Vehicle Warehouse location, because of that great spot to park the car for the "ambush".

A Toreador is not needed of course, but it makes it easier, sometimes i just use my MG MK2, or Explosive Shotgun MK2, well or a Weaponized Tampa.

If you're going to do business stuff in invite-only, then the arcade is your central hub. You can quickly go there either by switching session or by heist-traveling to a nearby apartment. The shortest distance from apartment to arcade is Eclipse Towers to Eight-Bit. Videogeddon would be another option because of its proximity to many other businesses (warehouses, nightclub, auto shop) as well as an aircraft spawn point. Insert Coin isn't too bad either. In the end it comes down to personal preference.

The nightcblub and agency are great passive money makers. Especially the first one you will visit often, so make sure it is close to your arcade/apartment. For the agency I would recommend getting the one in Little Seoul at least until you've grinded the number of missions to get the $20k income, because it's right in between the two locations for Recover Valuables, which is by far the quickest mission to complete.

When it comes to the Agency, pick the cheapest Agency location, Little Seoul, if you wanna grind Security Contracts.

I checked which Agency is the closest to pretty much all variations of Security Contracts in a previous post and turns out Hawick isn't really worth the investment.

EDIT: I went ahead and checked which Agency is the closest to most of the variations of the VIP Contract freemode prep missions and the order goes like

- Little Seoul ($2,010,000)

- Vespucci Canals ($2,145,000)

- Rockford Hills ($2,415,000)

- Hawick ($2,830,000)

The cheapest Agency is literally the best and the most expensive is just a waste of money unless you favor it for something else other than doing Security Contracts and grinding the VIP Contract.

Interesting, thanks Tez. Hawick is closest to the monke mission, tho. But that's about I guess.

Yeah but the Hawick Agency is also close to Tequil-La-La and if you save a client the drop off garage is also very close. It was pretty good doing mostly save client and retrieve items from Hawick. And these are the easiest and shortest missions. And i honestly didn't really give a sh*t about the Dr. Dre missions, i only played the whole story once, just so it's done.

Same here, I won't touch Dr Dre's missions again and I tend to play the contracts that are indeed close to Hawick.

And the route to the Strip Club is just a straight, just driving down the street and you're there. Hawick is basicly the best location not the worst.

What I'm hearing here is that Hawick is the worst for all the missions, but it's the best for the missions you'll actually do (and the damn monkey). Honestly, I don't think Agency location really matters since you'll probably always be leaving in the Agency helicopter and the difference in locations will only be a few seconds of flight time.

That can't be right because the quickest mission is Recover Valuables and Little Seoul is right in between the two locations.

The monkey mission is an automatic session switch for anyone who wants to get to the $20k passive income quickly.

If I am playing with friends the monkey mission is an absolute must; long drive, so we can race cars and have a laugh/chat, action packed interior gunfight and then another long drive back while fighting off bad guys. Get someone on the roof of the van with a minigun, and it's all fun.

With friends: Gang Termination in an Avenger / Hunter. Both fun and quick.

Hawick combined with the most expensive Clubhouse, Nightclub and Arcade, make the way the shortest if you wanna empty all your safes. It's just great having that all around the Vinewood Boulevard.

I'm gonna look at my arcade location again, I put it where I put it (by Lombank West) back when DCH was the big deal but nearer to Hawick and the casino might be an idea now.
