Why does the Schafter catch on fire after spooking the VIP guest?

Beacuse Tony Prince has so many of them...

More frustating is why the headlights don't work if you decide to take the limo's back (via yellow car icon) after the mission.

R* really needs to add bullet resistant glass to all things, since they have ruined the damn game with aimbot npc's that can hit you from miles away damn it.

It's just stupid that we can't just buy that sh*t for all cars......

I would drop a few $100k to beable to put it on my cars. It's just sad that instead of making the npcs use tactics or something they have to make them killer robots with great aim...

So, I go grab the tank now that there's no guards, but there's still the endless cops, and they just keep driving at me.  I shoot many of them, but then suddenly the tank EXPLODES!  I had shot a cop car coming up behind me, and the wreck glanced off the back of the tank.  I guess that's the tank's weakness, so mission failed.  Adding FURTHER insult to injury, the jerk on the phone calls to mock the failure.  So, I went to get the Duke from the impound.  Called up a different car, drove to the impound (from Procopio ALL THE WAY to the middle of the city) to find... no Duke.  I look in the Mechanic's list to find it's been DESTROYED.  What. The. HELL?  Adding INJURY to insult to insult to injury.

Requesting another personal vehicle when your current one is impounded will destroy it. Just some useful advice: To retrieve your impounded personal vehicle without having to request another one or go all the way to the impound lot, simply call up your assistant and request it. It will be delivered to you within 5 seconds.

Infinite loading screens while entering a garage? Are we living in 2013?

Man I cant wait till this game is finally thrown in a corner left to die, and we can just simply play GTA6 with (hopefully, fingers crossed) less issues.

Unfortunately people are still buying GTA- and Sharkcards, so I guess patience is the key.

Edit: Second time in 20 minutes Im having this issue. Im having the feeling R* fixes 1 thing and creates 3 more problems.

Edit again: It only took 20 minutes for a 3rd time, its a miracle - Rockstar really knows how to bring quality to their #1 income game.

You most probably played with 20 others in a public lobby, and there was some guy from the other end of the world with sh*tty internet in the session, then this happens. P2P networks only work right, if everyone has decent down and up speeds, you got some guy with a bad wifi or w-lan connection or very very slow internet in general, or ppl share their internet with 10 others, then this happens.

This can't happen to you if you play alone or with friends in a friends only session. Well if you know that your friends have decent internet.

For this problem you should blame that guy with the sh*tty internet, it's not directly Rockstar's fault. That guy probably didn't met the minimum internet speed requirements, making everyone in the session pay the price for it. If i very very rarely play in public cess pool sessions, and i notice this happens, i just lag out using taskmanager while being stuck in the loadscreen, and voila it works again.

But the missions are the GAME.  If I'm not doing the missions, what am I doing?

I can understand and truly appreciate this. If you like to play solo like this - do what you will. Have fun, by all means!

Unfortunately, if you want to make money, this is not the way. When you buy the supplies you spare some 10-15 minutes (to fill just one bar of supplies!) and can make WAY more money during this time by cuing in Heists, doing other missions or whatnot.

Instead of giving the NPC's access to all the new toys added over the year, they just keep upping their health and accuracy. Imagine for a moment if enemies could use the armoured vehicles with bullet resistant glass and FMJ rounds in their weapons. They wouldn't need increased accuracy.

I was doing some Sourcing for Yohan the other night and a gangbanger in an oversized t-shirt shrugged off an explosive .50 round to the face... Its gone insane.

The nerf that made the mkii sniper unable to kill a stock NPC is laughable really. It should be Running Man perimeter fence time, not oopsie I fell over

Admittedly the Snipers lose damage over distance, but I nail the guy in the face with an Explosive .50 round, and he just gets back up? The round that can make a car explode in one hit from any distance. Street Ganbangers have the same HP as a helicopter?

My most major gripe is the favourite bike bonus, and the stupid way the favourite bike is decided.

This needs to change. Just add an option to change what your favourite bike is in the clubhouse and give it a real world 24 hour cool down. Hell, give it a week long cool down, I don't care. Anything is better than the current method.

Rant over.

I would pay a hundred thousand to change it, but I would also exclude the Oppressor MkII from the list.

What ? You want them to have 2-hits kill Technicals, 3-hits kill Insurgent Pick-Ups or Barrages (bonus because they would have TWO 360° turrets) ?

Loaded APC with 2 360° machine guns, scary Hunters and more.

What ?

Yes. But within reason, if I am fighting gangbangers I expect them to have appropriate vehicles. Perhaps high level ones can have some old bullet resistant windowed vehicles like the Baller and the Shafter. If I am fighting Mercenaries I expect them to have better equipment than basic pistols and Felons.

My point is that instead of just upping the damage and accuracy every time until it's absurd they have the vehicles and weapons added by DLC to give players a challenge instead. Challenge should come from equipment, not adding numbers to stats pages.

The Technical is a gangster vehicle, the OG one being stolen from the Ballas, the Insurgent Pick-Up is more for groups like Merrywearther (the OG owners) and maybe The Professionals.

They should never give them to NPCs period, the mounted guns are way too powerful. The game is enforcing the 'take cover' enough already.

Being exposed is sure death, not even gambling.

Blind firing, corner shooting, you can try that but not popping out and shoot.

At least I can actually move and consider the idea, the Technical turret is a 2-hits kill and it's not a super slow gun.

Curiously enough, the weed prep for the Series A Funding has no Ballas using the Technical or trying to use it.

The guys in the Sultans have a secret weapon - pocket miniguns with a sniper scope and a thermal imager. They are shooting from cars on the move, from a great distance, at night, through the bushes, always hitting the head exactly. My char in armor dies in half a second.

Where can I buy such a gun? I pay any money! 😃

Fair point, but my question is: How can this happen 3 times in 1 hour? I didnt end up in the same lobbies with 20 players every time, because when I get stuck I just Alt-F4 the hell outta there.

Indirectly it kinda is R*'s fault (in my opinion), because if somebody does not meet the minimal requirements, they should just spawn in a solo session and not connect with other players.

I usually play in the public cess(pool)sions, just to cruise around and check out random car meets with 4 to 7 people in it.

Not much griefers or agressive modders either, quite chill with randoms actually - Just dont come near people who are grinding.

How do you lag out with the taskmanager? This sounds like a valuable trick.

Because not helping the VIP f*cks with Tony's popularity and no one f*cks with Tony's popularity! Be happy Tony didn't put a car bomb in his car!

I do appreciate that they let us actually use the car after dropping off the VIP. I wish more missions did this.

And it wouldn't make us invincible since we'd still punch out the glass to shoot back like in the Imani cars. Just give us a few seconds to escape.

To be fair, our characters are immune to the rag doll effects of fire, so Incendiary Rounds would be fair. It's such a shame that all this stuff has been added, but R* won't go back and update the enemies spawn lists with it. I am not talking about giving Ballas Akula Helicopters or Insurgents, but stuff that would make sense.

While they are at it, they should go back and add all the new cars to the NPC spawn lists, so they drive in traffic.

No to anything that would make NPCs more dangerous, it should be the player's character who get a buff to health and/or armor.

GTA IV got it better by far, it's not like you want to be exposed in that game but at least you can without fear, NPCs are mostly dangerous at close/medium range so anything more than that is mostly trying to kill you slowly (such a great idea to trade fair NPCs for regenerating health) .

You know, considering NPCs in vehicles, that would be more reasonable if they were at the level of GTA IV, ever encountered a FIB team in GTA IV ? You should fear them if they catch up to you (it's more the risk of screwing up your ride and the consequences of being on foot after) .

I agree with you for missions enemies, however i do think the police as a whole needs a major buff from 3-4 stars and up.

They are no threat whatsoever anymore, just flies bouncing all over your face and we have all the power in he worldto completely and utterly delete them at every corner. Even 5 stars is a complete joke nowadays.
They should have upgraded vehicles and possiby weapons/hp. Give them the buffalo stx with the bullet resistant windows and (unupgraded) explosive resistance, same with the mil spec, police insurgents pick ups to mix in with the NOOSE grangers etc. You mention gta4, surely you remember the NOOSE APC, thats another thing to add to the list of police upgrades. Same with the helicopters give them better ones they dont even use their own Annhilator anymore.

The NOOSE Tank but not with explosive rounds, windows are armored (in GTA IV) and destroying it would be the most logical option (FMJ would be a foolish choice despite the golden opportunity) .

The only hostile NOOSE Tank I remember attacking the player has a machine gun or at least a bullet based weapon, make sure this is no Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up turret or you'll get a demonic spider on you.

That's true, and I try to avoid regular public sessions as much as I can. But it always dumps you into a public session when you first log on.

They dont have to behave exactly like the player owned ones they could be weaker in some aspects and stronger in others. The Apc for one. It could have bulletproof windows but a non explosive cannon. Just this would already be a bigger threat than anything else the current gta police has because it would be something you can just get rid of instantly.

And ofc when i meant insurgent pick up i meant based on the pegasus one not custom so the default weapon.
