Guys, we don't need any mod menus or glitches! Bugstar has already provided us enough fun.

I got on my Oppressor, but it moved to the side and I found myself sitting in the air. I was able to fly, shoot, release a flare, get off and get back on invisible Oppressor. I was even able to change from visible to invisible, fly on both and swap them again.

Thanks Bugstar for a fun! I hope none of your moderators have been watching me at this time.

The heavy must not have a headshot weakness because it's the same with body shots.

 

My favorite heavy is the one in the weapon dealer prep mission. If you light him on fire he falls over screaming. It's hilarious and makes him easy to deal with. Most other heavies are fire proof.

Yeah. Personally i kinda figured this might be the case recently. If they cant drop bags of it or shoot bags of it, manipulate the mission content instead.

 

What boils my bunny is what gives these tits an inch to force teleport everyone to the checkpoints and deny them the content? Okay- devils advocate, the end goal is pay. We all want a little cash at these ever-increasing prices. But to flat-out bring the hammer down on other players fingers for wanting to actually engage in whatever it is they've joined is simply bemusing. I wouldn't go into my gym and shout "everyone out, you've had plenty of exercise today" or go to a chess tournament and immediately declare to everyone "go home, i'm the winner today" or that i'm better than everyone else there just because i have more knowledge on the subject - and have a monopoly over the choice of others! Gatekeeping content is the scummiest thing imaginable, and here in Online is the only avenue in which you are openly permitted to do so, and without repercussion. The fact you hardly (if at all) have any time to bring up the phone and quit in protest is instantly bypassed through these new scripts too.

 

It's impressively scummy to tie someone's hand behind their back into engaging in something you have no say in. I suppose there's pulling your ethernet cable out (if within reach) and in time before you get teleported as well, but the effort this takes along with the existential knowedge of knowing you are literally fighting a uphill battle with no end in sight plays into the hand of the anti hero; the cheater at large. Give in to legit *glitched* cash or stay stubborn enough in your ways to leave if you see nefarious (and albeit brazen) cheating. Scales seem pretty even on this, at least from my playtime. I see paranoid players leave sessions / lobbies daily if they see quad digit players. That's even before the host ends up hitting the Launch button in mission instances before anyone has time to leave.

every time i play i somehow manage to piss off whatever cheater is on the session and become their main target
if you suspect a modder is on the session type in !spawn kosatka for funny results

Has anyone else noticed that the homing missile launcher will NOT hit anything unless it's entirely stationary?  I'm being constantly besieged by armadas of helicopters, and the homing missiles absolutely will NOT hit them.  It wasn't like this, not so long ago.  They would reliably hit the helicopters if they were even more or less stationary... now, if the helicopter changes direction by a millimeter, the missiles will sail right on past.

Ok, I tried it.  I didn't see any disguises anywhere.  There were two guards that appeared as white circles, the other 20 or so were all red.  It put me in a smuggler disguise to start, apparently that's not it?

 

There didn't seem to be any way into any of the buildings, if the costumes are supposed to be in there.

Ok, I did find a disguise, but there was a red guard walking back and forth right on top of it.  NO way to get it without alerting him, and no way to take him out without alerting everyone.

Ok, this time I waited until the guard was ENTIRELY out of sight, INSIDE a building, and then took him out.  It alerted the whole island immediately.  So, I can't get to the disguise because it's under a camera.  I can't take out the camera without alerting the guard.  I can't take out the guard without alerting the whole island.  So... what's left?  I don't see any other disguises.

Ok, managed to snag the disguise, just didn't take out either of them.  Made my way to the compound, grabbed the loot and was leaving.  Hid behind a large stand of crates and junk as a guard went by, but apparently they have x-ray vision, and he saw me there anyway.  Tried equipping my scuba gear, but the disguise prevented it, is there a way to remove the disguise?  Made the swim away rather difficult with two helicopters and 3 patrol boats materializing from thin air, all chasing me and shooting me through the water.  Still, using ALL my snacks and armour, I was able to slip away.  Mission "successful."  Not sure I'll try it again that way, the whole point was to give me better access to the secondary targets, but all the doors require 2 keys, and can't be had solo, alas.

Sigh.  Even more "fun."

 

Vehicle Cargo mission, standard vehicle, so lowest difficulty.  I'm to go steal a cargobob, then airlift the target car from a boat.

 

So, I go to the cargobob, but it's guarded by 11,000 military troops.  I run away and eventually the wanted level goes away.  So I go back, but as soon as I get in the helicopter, they all respawn and start shooting rockets at me.  However, as we've established, rockets can no longer HIT anything, so I escape.

 

I get to the car, but there's guards on the skiff... and nowhere to land.  So, I have no choice but to take fire, since I'm unarmed in the cargobob, while trying to maneuver the little tiny hook onto the car.  Finally I do, but the second I do, two attack helicopters appear from thin air.  I try to run, but if I go at full speed, I lose altitude, doubtless because of the car.  That means I can't outrun them, and I can't outfight them.  I have no choice but to try to land, but it won't let me release the car, so I have no choice but to land ON it, which causes the cargobob to spin sideways over and over, dragging the car with it in a macabre death roll.

 

And THAT was the LOWEST difficulty.

 

What fun?

You mean to say that you have ammo for it? Mine disappears in minutes, and I'm not even using the thing.

If I was designing the Cargobob MkII there are a few things I would do with it, not sure what its design would be based off, but I would make it VTOL like the Hydra or have the movement of the Deluxo, a magnet fixed to the bottom, so stuff does not swing around and rear facing missile launchers, so you can shoot down pursuers while moving forward.

Wouldn't it make more sense to repeat/cheat CPH over and over instead of playing for 15-25% cut in Pac Standard? Everyone was level 200+ in the heist so affording a Kosatka shouldn't be a problem. But then again mod menu users aren't exactly the brightest...

 

But good to know about the money detection. Too bad R* still sucks at everything else about anticheat. Thanks for the info.

Honestly, maybe just don't do Cayo if it's too much trouble. Just get yourself an auto shop, a toreador and an armoured kuruma and do contracts since they're much simpler and more predictable.

I keep losing the whole damn thing and have to rebuy it...........

Then R* steal my boom rounds for my shotgun, flip they break so many things when they drop a dlc...

You know how you get extra RP and money when you fail, right? They have this weird option in the menu, when if a heist fails, they get 1, 2 or whatever mil. I've seen this a few times now.

I've actually had weapons and ammo disapppear too.  In fact, I used to have the raygun thing (I forget the name), but now it's disappeared and is for sale at Ammunation for 400k.

Ammo disappears constantly too, but that I can replenish easily enough.

No because Rockstar has tools / systems to prevent any money going into people's accounts if the heist is relaunched again too quickly, or a flag is applied which then in turn has some sort of automated system work out your earnings vs time or something. This was the case before they even implemented platform-wide cooldowns on the heists.

If you don't own a weapon, sometimes you'll get random copies of it in your inventory. Then you can do various things and they go away, on purpose, or on accident. When you actually buy a weapon that's not already glitched into your inventory it will actually stay there.

I’m home sick at the moment. So naturally I think I could do a little GTA. I’ve only ever completed the Diamond Casino Heist once (and never as boss), so I thought I’d just join randos. BIG MISTAKE. I’ve tried some of the original heist, the Doomsday heist and the casino heist multiple times over the last 3 day, and not once have I completed one. My god what a sh*tshow it is with randos.

chances are, if they haven't already got friends to do it with they have no idea what to do for the heist. i'm talking killing the valet on silent and sneaky levels of stupid.

Is it hidden in your weapon locker? That'll make it appear for sale at Ammunation.

It's almost criminal that we don't have a Cargobob mk2 in the game yet. 1 beefy ass boy who tanks 30 rockets and yadda yadda. Everytime I pick up a vehicle in my Jetsam the poor thing looks like it's struggling for dear life.

 

Cargobobs drive shark card sales.... Duh! The fools.

 

Edit: And please.. Give me a f*cking Packard you jackasses. From VC. I'd pay 6 million for this just to hear Pegasus concierge tell me they can't deliver it. LOL
