Man @Jamwes I'm almost going to have to say this was on you. We all have our stories with bullsh*t moments like helicopters falling on you from the side or behind you, or when you jump out of your helicopter and it slams into you the moment you touch ground. Here you saw it coming and you just stood there. Didn't you think for one second while going through the weapon wheel that: "Oh, that thing is heading for me, maybe I should move" or were you curious and wanted to see how things played out?

 

Still, a B&M worthy moment of low probability screwing you in the ass.

Low probability is what made it a B&M. All the times I've shot down that helicopter from that position it had never come close to hitting me. But you are right, a big part of my not moving was to see if it did hit me. Which is why I actually remembered to take a video and I thought it was too good not to add to the B&M thread.

To hell with that underwater salvage special crate mission. From getting turned into swiss cheese the instant i get within 10 ft from the water's surface to being trapped on a remote island where i'm once more turned into swiss cheese before i can even get my rpg out and finally to running out of time to bring the crate back to my warehouse. Damn you whoever designed that mission! I curse you to step on a thousand legos every day!

On the new character that I started on XBOX One, I have just started to collect the action figures again. They aren't spawning for some reason?

 

I have a map and location guide printed out from last time, and started right at the bottom of the map as they are sequentially numbered from that direction. No action figure behind the Crastenberg Hotel sign, and I know that I haven't collected it.

Ever since the Criminal Enterprises DLC dropped I'v esometimes gotten very very slight stutters when traveling on the PC version. I've an RTX2080. That sh*t shoudl run smoothly as silk. What did Rockstar put into the map that sometimes causes these stutters that last for 3 frames or whatever. It's jarring. Grr, I'm angry.

I was collecting them at one point when suddenly I realized the game wasn't saving some of them, which meant I need to track back and see which one I "missed", so I just said "Fk it!" and left them for dead.

I have been so tempted to do what you've done and get the One X out again and start with a new character. I love the new version. it's so alive with the speedy traffic and nicer looking everything, but it's a bit visually glitchy at times, being a re-hash. Quite a lot of wonky lighting f*ckups. I do miss the way it looked before at times.

 

What is weird for me with the new version, because it's flattened a lot of previously pixelated looking stuff, at times it's like being back in old San Andreas. I stood outside the Vespucci Binco at sunset, and the sky is such a flat and smooth looking panel of orange over the rooptop. Likewise palms on Cayo against the same orange, and from inside the Weston hangar at LSIA, seeing the outline of a black jet against the sky. it looks simplistic, like from back in the day. It got smoothed into looking primitive. I notice it all over the map at times. Probably just me.

 

There is a part of me itching to have nothing but a crappy little garage and a stolen Manana topless.

Rockstar has skipped a week of one of their longest dripfeeds for an update with a pitiful amount of content. And of course, they can because they don't give us any kind of roadmap or indication of what's to come so they can act like we don't know anything about the update!

I had the same issue (not sure if it was the same Action Figure) when starting again on xbox one, I tried session switching but that didn't work for me (has for some), so I shut down the game and relaunched the game which worked for me.

Yeah, it’s been great to be honest having nothing and starting again. Just to note, I actually play both versions, the XBOX One version and the most recent E & E Version, on the same XBOX Series X console.

Well, I broke my 4 month daily objective streak because of the flingin' flangin' "Compete in a Freemode Challenge" daily. I've been feeling pretty sick the last couple of days and didn't feel like spending another hour and a half session hopping try to find a flingin' flangin' freemode challenge that actually counts, like the last time I did it. Business battles don't count, "fastest speed in a land vehicle" doesn't count, "fly under bridges in an airplane" doesn't count. I finally got a Hot Property that was underway and I managed to shoot/tag the carrier with about 3 seconds left and completed it.

Fortunately it was the day *after* I collected my 750K bonus so it was an easier decision to make.

There are Freemode Challenges (fastest speed in a land vehicle etc.), and Freemode Events (hot property, checkpoints, hunt the beast etc.). Both have their own Objectives.

It's 2022 and there are still dozens of absolute rеtаrdinhos that take 10+ minutes to solve the Fleeca Finale Puzzle... only to be defeated by the Impossible Drill Challenge.

What's up with these club source missions? Yohan found me like 10 crates of weapons at a time, and he'd find drugs too. Now it's only cargo and weapons and he only nabs me 1 at a time, it's barely worth it now

Yeah, I know. Do you have it memorized which ones are which? I sure don't. Seems nobody else does either because the times I've tried looking it up I get all sorts of contradictory and incomplete info and end up just having to try them all to figure out which one it is this time.

At least today it specifically said "business battle" so I only had to spend 45 minutes session hopping.

Air Checkpoints, Checkpoints, Criminal Damage, Hold The Wheel, Hot Property, Hunt The Beast, Kill List, King of the Castle, and Penned In are the Freemode Events. All of the others are Freemode Challenges (aside from the Business Battles of course)

So... more unplayable missions.

 

First, had to shoot down the cargo planes again.  Took out the escort first this time, then took out the planes.  The cargo is falling in the sky... somewhere.  I fly around and around and around, up, down, all over... saw it pass by once or twice, no way to get to it, it was invisible until I was actually passing it.  Finally, the thing hits the ground, I clip a tree while circling trying to catch it, and fall on the ground.  Plane survives, so I hop out and grab the cargo.  Enemy planes spawn, so I get under cover, wait for them to fire, and then hop out and destroy them with missiles.  Jump back in my plane, but it won't move.  Try to back up, nothing.  Try to accelerate, nothing.  Try to lower the gear, but nope, it won't go down, the plane is just paralyzed.  By now there's more planes, and I run for cover, then shoot them down.  Then again.  Then again.  THEN AGAIN.  They never stop respawning, and no matter what I do, the plane will NOT move.  Finally, I got in a car and drove to the hangar with planes hounding me the whole way, and every car in the universe blocking, ramming and otherwise impeding me the whole way.

 

Next, I'm supposed to escort a Titan making a drop.  For this, I'm put in a Mogul, which is too fast to stay behind the Titan, but too fast to engage the helicopters attacking it.  It's also ONLY armed with guns, so it's nearly impossible to even HIT the things, especially since I'm trying to steer with a mouse.  Why the HELL can't we use a joystick?  So, fly around and around and around and around, desperately shooting at the helicopters until finally they fall.  I'm on one engine at this point because I collided with them so many times.  The instant they are destroyed... TWO MORE appear.  What is the point of shooting them down if the SECOND they're gone two more appear and it's like you never did anything?  With only one engine, I'm forced to abandon the plane, but the Titan is destroyed before I can parachute to the ground and grab some other plane.

 

I keep saying it with this game, over and over.  WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?  Even if I'd shot the helicopters down, they immediately reappear, so there's no point in doing so.  What a waste of a mission.

You don't have to use the provided aircraft, you can literally just use anything. Would suggest a Deluxo or mk2.
