Like, ffs. Their are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of makes and models in the real world that could make interesting additions to GTA. Like a Honda Goldwing type deal without a livery, a Reliant Robin, tracked go kart things, Ford Ranchero, and tons more. And vans have entire genres of low rider type deals and van-life mods that you could have an entire update's worth of options JUST in vans or like 3 or 4 really customizable options tacked on.

 

A Life and Living update would be perfect for GTA too. Slap a hippy contact in, he encourages us to "find inner peace, man" and buy a literal farm plot. Treat it like the nightclub where you either hire workers or work it yourself giving purpose to the tractors and the f*cking duster air plane, even a new duster style helicopter thrown in. Generate passive income, work up towards an actual harvest and sale, or do both with side missions to give the inbred cousins a healthy dose of hippity hoppity, get off my property. Hell, you can even randomize what seeds you can get to change your harvest worth while also increasing the attack threat.

 

Bundle it all up with a ton of more tame but unique vehicles and you've got a perfect update.

I'd really love an update that adds civilian properties like cafes, restaurants, laundromats, bars etc kinda acting as mini social hubs for players with a lot of immersive interactive activities in them. Although you could argue they'd be pointless it'd be cool having a more chill way to interact with other players and it'd add a lot of immersion to the world. They could even be player owned properties that launder money and provide a passive income or something with a few missions here and there to up-keep them. Any sort of update that adds more interiors that anyone can enter I think would be cool tbh

thinking of owning a high end restaurant now and being able to customize menu / style, and then like you said some illicit money laundering etc behind the scenes. Would be pretty cool.

Having different style/theme restaurants would be awesome, and there could be temporary benefits and boosts to eating certain meals or something. Ultimately I think more lite roleplay and world building features would push GTA Online a lot further. Theres clearly a demand for stuff like car meets which is a recreational activity between players with no benefit that adds a lite rp element to the game, hopefully R* capitalises on it

Major loot:

The first time you will have to steal a golden egg decorated with diamonds. And the main Loot will be located on the third floor below.

The second time there will be random loot, like cayo perico, that will be a necklace, a very rare painting, a diamond crown, an emerald figurine and ancient Egyptian scrolls.

And still additional loot will appear, there will be separate rooms on three floors. Something like a casino.

And to get to them you will have to hack. And hacking as in cayo perico with a fingerprint.

There will be several ways to walk away from a robbery, like a casino robbery. Three approaches quiet, clever and aggressive.

Who will commission us to rob the museum. We will commission Trevor Philips because he lost all his money in the casino and needs our help to get rich.

And where we're going to prepare this attack on the museum and make preparations for it. It's going to be a bar, and which trevor what way to get it and we can use it in partnership.

All the preparations can be done by one person just like on cayo perico.

 

And on the pad you will be able to do it alone or with colleagues, just like the cayo perico raid.

 

How will it be possible to teach from the museum. The main entrance, the roof or the garage.

What escape attempts might be. You will be able to disguise yourself as cleaning crews and drive a van out of the garage, you will be able to rope off the back of the building onto the highway and escape by car and and the main entrance you will have to knock down the policemen and get into the car and escape. 

 

Where we will have to prove the main booty to fools. On the paleto bay pier.

 

If rockstar ever adds this heist to GTA online, I will be very happy to play this heist with my friends.

 

If you like it, my idea of attacking the museum then cool. and if not then unfortunately it is difficult.

 

This is a super cool idea. The only change I'd make is to have it in the Kortz centre, since the Betsy O'Neil is a theatre and probably a bit too small for a heist to take place in. I feel like this could be a refinement of the Casino heist, doable solo and actually requiring different technology to do the heist. For example, we'd need to steal a 3D printer like the one from Ocean's 8 to replicate the primary/secondary targets, and use a drone to get the primary target. I'm not sure if an aggressive approach would work for an art heist, but who knows, maybe rockstar could make it make sense.

 

I'm also not entirely sure whether Trevor would be the right accomplice for the heist, maybe mini Madrazo still trying to impress his dad or a whole new character.

Speaking of vehicle bugs, not sure if this was already discussed but the 10F seems to have a few flaws with the rear light coronas. Kind of insignificant but anyway:

I posted a while back when FO76 got "excursions" that the same idea would work for GTAO where we have set Heists outside the map in places like Libertonian from GTAIV, one of the Casinos from Las Venturas etc. these would obviously be closed off, set piece Heists.

A freemode random event was cut from the latest update, the Criminal Enterprises. Called Army Convoy. Most likely associated with the Bunker. An additional way of receiving materials/research? But given the bugs that occurred with Patrick McReary random event. Then, no wonder Rockstar had this event cut from the update.

Because the other bonuses are active e.g clubhouse contracts 

 

I am asking specifically about those first time sell bonuses. I wouldn't mind seeing those inflated digits on my second character forever :colgate:

There are tunable variables for them listed within the current server-side tunables. Rockstar can always remove them if they want to.

Hmm if they don't disable them then what's gonna happen during 2/3x events. Will they just overlap and still be 2/3x or multiply to 4/6x.

this happens because someone screwed up the direction the bone axis for each light is facing when mirroring the model

i'm not even gonna try to speculate how did this happen on one variant of the same car but not the other, i think i'd have an easier time learning quantum physics

If it uses vectors, things can get confusing...


maybe they made one, they fixed the other, but didn't fix the original?

then there's the old armored kuruma's left taillight which doesn't glow but lights up with a corona and the weird reverse that's glitchy af on the same side

(few overlapping/merged/dupe/incorrectly split geometries seems to be to blame for it)

honestly, these rigging mistakes are probably harder to spot by the intern

the only time they really 'fixed' this was the insurgent pickup custom which has normal headlights compared to the og heist insurgents

but of course, the originals are still messed up

 

EDIT: fun fact on the sm722, because they mapped the left taillight to both sides of the body and right to the boot so they light up at the same time, you can shoot the right side all you like and the tail will still work, but shooting the left takes out the right body side too; meanwhile, the middle brake /right tail is mapped the the center of the trunk so you can shoot where the lights are and nothing happens, but if you shoot the badge, boom goes your lights

i just seen this. it looks so unbelievably f*cked lmao

 

though don't get me wrong, i can see what the modeller was going for - they wanted the smaller strips to be brake lights, and the bigger strips to be tail lights. it was well-intentioned but.... yeah, it didn't work out thanks to the game running on an outdated system at this point (another reminder why we need gta6/update to next rage version already.)

 

this could be so easily fixed (while retaining the original vision™) by adding very simple support for something like "taillight_l_2" and then splitting off the lights. or if the programmers don't feel like adding a simple case switch to the code handling functions for light bones, they could do a hacky workaround to treat the additional pieces as breakable glass pieces like how i did for the side indicators on a vanillaworks model that i ported.

lolololololololololololol, lol lol, lol. As much as it pains me it didn't get added because it sounds like it'd be rather interesting. The fact that Packie was mentioned as a possible cause makes me smile given I long since via very basic "cause and effect" observation that said random event was tied to the Yellow Corona outbreaks. Van driving around intact? Lobby works fine. Van blown up, on fire, or loudly playing a muffled "Under the Sea! Under the Sea!" video from a certain movie? Goodbye all yellow coronas working.

Okay at least I wasn't the only one to notice that and get somewhat annoyed. Still somehow not as bad as my Lynx......with it's still broken off center steering wheel.....or the Stormberg's off centered dashboard.

An on-the-spot guess?

 

Someone made the light rig for the 10F choosing to mirror the bones behaviour instead of just their global position across the YZ plane. Proceeded to move onto the 10F Widebody, noticed the mistake while working on the widebody, fixed it, but forgot to go back and apply the same fix for the regular 10F

Looks like it might finally be happening. My theory is that they meant to do this in Tuners, alongside the Junk Energy event which was probably supposed to come out with that DLC, or The Contract (see Agency vending machine) but got postponed.

A random event, called Parachuter, was cut as well. Although the script exists, but without the script logic behind the random event.

 

A Halloween Chute Bag was shown on @WildBrick142's tweet, but was never released since the Tuners update. Maybe this chute bag was planned for this "Parachuter" random event?
