i know polygon areas are hard but to think that each retangle was a separate thing

I think they could've done them as polygons

I mean, the streets aren't an infinite series ofhorizontal or vertical lines connected through a millions turns or the ai would never stop indicating or something

these zones are just invisible bounds.

nothing with polygons or something.

and then there are also the paths which they can adjust things.

sure maybe in 3ds max they marked them with cubes, but nothing in the final game is handled with polygons with the zones lol

Polygon wars. Blimey. I don't know how to tell which is the dark side or light side in that debate. Probably depends on the angle of the light source lol.

 

I'm ready to speculate that it's time for mansions. Always a cool idea but until now there were lots of things ahead of it. Would be a good Michael backdrop, stories of the goings-on of his neighbours included, problems his pal Frank and the Agency solved for them etc.

 

Now that calling the executive helicopter is free (GTA+?) and I go everywhere in it, place them where you like. It's time.

It would be cool if they could add more quick travel locations to the CEO Luxury Helicopter.

 

Right now, we only have 3 quick travel options since 2016:
- Office
- Cargo Warehouse
- Vehicle Warehouse

 

But after all these years, they could add new options to go to:
- Bunker
- Hangar
- Facility
- Nightclub
- Arcade

- Auto Shop
- Agency

 

And maybe even:
- Yacht
- Arena War Workshop
- Diamond Casino / Master Penthouse
- Kosatka

They could easily turn the bus stops around the map into fast travel nodes. Walk into one, and a menu and minimap pops up asking you where you want to go. Select one, and you get a short cutscene of your player getting on the bus and then getting off at your destination. After which you spawn back into the overworld.

That would be cool actually! They could do that with that small train too.

Yeah the city is still having wars frequently, but without the gangs people we're hoping for.

Its between the angry carshow-at-lsc kids, CEO's, griefers, grinders, tryhards, trolls, casuals...

 

And suddenly a modder comes along like:

OT:

Here's to hoping the next dlc will be awesome, I could personally do with some new 50's vehicles like the tornado (but better detailed) or some old pickup trucks.

Well that, or CUC (Criminals & Underground Cops).

After the update I fast-travel by changing the spawn point across my property, because we usually play in private sessions with friends.

Speaking about northern part of the map, a lot of people may not know this, but, you know about the Mount Gordo ghost, right? Well, if you go to the lighthouse area and put yourself below the point where the ghost appears, you will have another bit of that easter egg that not many may now, which is, being able to listening poltergeists (screams and whispers). There was a small camp place there but was replaced with one of the Complex locations, which takes a lot of the creepiness of the place. It was a poor choice from R*.

Damn this thread is cemetery. So what y'all think we gonna get tomorrow as bonuses? I want to unload 5 full warehouses if it's 2x on crates or  2x on car meet rep and autoshop contracts would be nice to get those 100 completed for platinum. 

Curious on what our favorite event week speculator @rollschuh2282 is predicting...

I do hope we get some sort of warehouse sale or similar bonuses, I filled up part of my big one when the crates were on discount, just need to sell it :sadkek:

Since the Sprunk vs Ecola event is still going on for another week, would it be strange for them to add the Junk skydiving collectibles this week? Given its another beverage / energy drinks company based on Monster / Red Bull.  Perhaps next week with the few jackets and caps for the wining brand. Literally the clothing has been in the game since LS Tuners and we just getting one set 😅

 

Aside from the Halloween content (collectibles and UFO sighting), do we have any substantial Freemode content left?

inb4 in an unexpected twist junk takes over both sprunk and ecola and ends up being the winner, with the reward being changed to junk skydives and the sprunk & ecola clothing forever locked away in r* vault

Back to the point: Are they ever going to add new things to the christmas and halloween content ? It would be cool to have like one another car for that special occasion. I know that they don't bring an update for such small stuff but i remember back in the day they brought an update just to bring 2 cars into the game which if I remember correctly was Banshee 900R and Sultan RS for Bennys.

I B&M'd quite a bit about them dripping the service rifle, so glad they released it sooner than later.. I've been playing a ton more PvE stuff from old missions to FR business stuff because of it. It's so nice, even without an optic. I really hope they add a few more long requested guns before the game is abandoned for VI. The rest of the beta guns, some BOGT guns, and a proper Glock not mixed with anything else. Oh, and a G3 like rifle (we got a new 7.62 NATO with the Heavy Rifle, why not a retro rifle in the same caliber?)

 

So drip wise, it's either the Kanjo SJ or a Benny's upgrade, what's the next Benny's car, Sentinel Classic WB?

Looks like you are a bit out of the loop. Yes there is a sprunk vs ecola thread, but you know how it is, some posts get mixed because this is the "main" thread. About the halloween event, what are you talking about? There will be the new UFO sights that will unlock new clothing, and there's a new jack'o'lantern mask if you collect pumpkins across the map and there will be other masks for halloween (which are pretty cool, to say the least).

To me the brioso and sentinel classic were a waste of slot space...not to mention that looks like the brioso drives like sh*t. To me they just added widebody on then and call it a day. I remember the good old days where you toke a car to benny's and it would be transformed in a classic version of said model of a car.

collectibles are one thing, what i am interested in is vehicles. We have the skull-bike-thingy, the franken stange and the buccaneer hearse (forgot the names ffs) for years now. Something new would be cool.
