Probably going to be boring from here on out. As far as I'm concerned, the game is now in stasis until GTAO2.0 is out.

 

The last few updates pretty much just added filler content that can be completed in a day. They're saving the big stuff for later. I really don't expect any extensive heists or crazy content at this point. Probably a lot more experimenting with freemode events as well, to see what people do the most.

 

Been kind of busy recently anyway, and have a huge game queue so I'm not too upset about the game winding down. Also gave up on all these clothing unlocks, that I never wear to begin with. Having timed unlockable content by doing random stuff every week also makes the game feel like work. Definitely not having it. The stuff they do release is at least always decent so I log in to at least play through the main content.

 

As far as summer, I would guess more cars as usual, and maybe another set of interesting contact missions. The ULP ones were pretty awesome, so I hope we get something like that again. The current drug ones were hit and miss with me. Also interested in the holiday events. Someone mentioned some new Halloween event coming up this year so I'm excited for that. Also the gooch needs to come back, because that was fun. They should bring him back for a week in the summer or something and not say anything, just to mess with people.

We've gotten a few since then actually, the service carbine, the precision rifle, w 29 pistol, and the rail gun (ik not new but still)

I have similar feelings, my question is, is it to technical limitations on old gen and will we see larger content when old-gen will be no longer updated or is it because of VI?

We already know Rockstar is keeping the "Make your own mixes/beats" feature in the oven for a while now. Until last-gen support is dropped.

 

At which point, there's a chance we could get a second VIP Contract after Dr.Dre's Contract.

I'm with you on this one. Really liked ULP. During bonus weeks replayed it a bit, it was a nice filler, especially when

From LSDW I liked some Dax missions and some Freakshop setup/acid resupply missions (especially chemical spill and air drop).

 

 

I think contact missions don't get a lot of love (or $?). I might replay some Simeon or Gerald, out of nostalgic vibes..

Seems like Rockstar started doing things a while ago to do a transition from old gen to new gen...like GTA+ for new gen and i feel like sharkcard sales slowly started to go down, SO with GTA+ You get discount on those...plus all the perks and "free" stuff like Cars and properties.

I think also that sharkcard sales on old gen must be slowing down...why would a player Buy a sharkcard if the most he can get is 20 fps...like buying a car, going fast and SEE how the buildings around him dissappear...but something is still holding Rockstar it seems, so far we don't know when they Will drop the support on last gen, personally i have nothing Against old gen users who cannot upgrade to new gen for economic reasons, i myself cannot Buy a rtx graphics Card...but it's seems like old gen reached it's limits and it's time to move on. Iam pretty sure Rockstar have new gen dlc material ready on Hold (the mixes/Beats thingy that tez mentioned is one of them) 

Maybe they Will drop support for next gen in the next update, we need a community update or an extensive newswire with all the details.

I myself think that a filler update with lots of qol and maybe mansions or some new house property could have been a Nice departure for old gen, but that seems highly unlikely so a major update (July/December) might be the time Rockstar mades a decisión.

As a PC player of course i hope as soon as last gen is dropped we get the E&E stuff, i really want the content: Cars, chameleon paints and the new time trials, it would refresh My Gameplay for sure.

More on the topic: i recently finished My second walkthrough in story mode and i think there is SO much potential for a Michael dlc involving the movie studio, Salomón and why not Tracey (no horny intended) she Will be 10+ years old a Mature woman with Big aspirations in Vinewood.

And i still want the Rockford Plaza to be opened, with Nice stuff inside (food courts featuring Burger Shot, Cluckin Bell, Bean Machine Coffee, places to hang out (Big arcade with npcs playing games, bowling alley, etc.

Clothing stores like Didier Sachs and others that are currently not available.

And this could lead to more content Aka a new heist with our boi Vincent...they could combine all existing ingame mechanics like cayo perico, casino heist etc.

Would be Nice having múltiple targets like clothing stores, food joints, jewelry stores, and they rotate depending on how they perform (bigger sales) and of course múltiple approaches, a building that Big...You should be able to do loud approach, stealth and Big con like casino heist at least.

December DLC(1st Dose) gone without E&E...and now,The Last Dose has gone without giving us any E&E content.And R* is as tight lipped as ever...I Want E&E for PC with the next GTA+ month.Else...I bought GTA IV  weeks ago and I intend to play it for the first time ever within the next two months.R* please disappoint me,so I can go play GTA IV instead.But please,don't disappoint me too much else I might not play GTA IV at all.Because I bought other AAA games at Steam Spring Sale.And they all look so good..

Week after next week as GTA+ runs through April 12. I don't think they'll hold the Boor back until then (probably next week) but I do see the hard mode event for Last Dose happening the week after.. it'll be a month since Last Dose and that's how long R* waited to initiate the hard mode event for First Dose

oh i got a whole list (and no, it's not a b&m, it's legitimate concern and witty remarks about the diminishing vehicle quality in a game named after the crime of stealing cars)

• both blower mods don't have collisions. which is baffling, because.... they do exist in the model. they just weren't assigned to the part. which is literally a single line to edit for each blower, or two if you want it to be done perfectly.
• i'm no car expert, but i don't think the suspension springs should bend like that
• Short Roll Cage w/ Fuel Cell has a new style of dirt mapping, the cool lines!
• and so does the Roll Cage w/ Tire Mount. hmm, maybe it's not an issue with quality standards this DLC, but just in-lore someone took a credit card or a razor to the dirt and lined it up like it's coke. all around a bar without it falling off, but hey!
• Ram Snorkel also has this new high-tech AAA dirt mapping.
• oh and speaking of dirt mapping, all license plates on the rear (and front, not pictured) bumpers do not get dirty (stock for reference). license plates.... a part from a generic parts bin. missing the most basic of features........
• some amateur does not know how plastic works. which means you get something that looks like mold on the Heavy Duty Bull Bar.
• the bed floor is mapped in a way that it overlaps with the mapping for the Painted Canopy mod. so you get a random stripe on the rear right side of the floor with certain liveries.
• the skid plate on the Crux Skid Plate parts magically changes size between regular and painted.
• someone was incredibly lazy when doing the deformation paint on mod part hoods. it's supposed to be a smooth gradient and not an abrupt cutoff. and yes, i have full right to call it lazy, because that's exactly the kind of sh*t i do when making car mods when i don't feel like doing proper paint in that moment. so, naturally, in game, if you really crash the car a lot (or just run it with a tank) you get a... cliff, i guess?
• same with the Painted Canopy. christmas is coming fast, i don't have time for gradients!
• the so-called "primary [color]" bullbars are actually chrome. well, to be specific, painted chrome. someone either screwed up the reflectivity of the material, or gave it a misleading name. because if your primary color is black, you don't get a black-colored bullbar. you get a straight-up chrome one. so while it's cool to have paintable chrome, either the material or the name need fixing.
• [subjective opinion, so don't count as an issue] the car is based on the subaru brat, which is known quite well for its jump seats. sooooooo.... where are they? the one part that would really suit it. i guess it wasn't in the recyclable parts bin?

and for that whole list of issues, r* is going to have the audacity to charge you at minimum $19.99 for it (or $19.98 if you're GTA+). and i know, the money can be earned in game, but i doubt r* won't try to FOMO the thing which is likely to get people to open up the wallets. hell, even without FOMO i'm pretty sure some people would.

 

let's hope this is not a gta6 car...

i think there's still hope. i imagine that if r* would announce e&e for pc now you'd get a lot of angry people still playing on ps4/xo (rightfully) asking why they can't at least get the 5 cars and chameleon paints. would probably be easier to drop support for the consoles first and then announce it for pc then it's less likely anyone is going to be asking questions.

alternatively, it might be bundled in a dlc so it won't need its own announcement and instead be treated as a regular dlc content addition.
