Ah yeah, if you wanna play with randoms that's obviously gonna be an issue, I mean as long as you have a group to do it with. What we did was just select stuff that popped up in the end-screen, no real choice, just randomly looking at older stuff.

Yeah looks like it's hitting a transaction cap on PC unfortunately, definitely needs some tweaking or they might just do it like with Import/Export etc, have it be 1.5x instead.

Why is there a cap on PC? I assume it’s probably to prevent money sharing by hackers?

I bet it's the same with stash houses, except in that case it's 1 per day so makes no sense to cap it so low

 

I mean if the cap is for ALL products (per transaction) it makes sense... but if it's overall per dealer (meaning no dealer gives you >80k) that's just dumb, considering you could hit it normally.

PSA: I just sold 1 unit of coke for $79.000 My daily objectives changed (3 AM) it's currently 04:43 AM Monday for me...the dealer is in Marina drive in Sandy Shores

Maybe other PC players can try to sell now...

The limit is 80k, so you basically got the max possible payout for it lmao

 

I unfortunately have/had two dealers selling for over 80k. Hope they fall under that tomorrow lol (which I think is now?)

Yes the dealer i mentioned is for today (March 27), the next day (March 28) it's over the cap ($80.400) and March 29 street dealer 3 Will be buying for $79.000

Yeah it's been a thing for years now, PC uses an extra online service to control cash/item transactions, alongside extra "tunables" to set caps. As Tez mentioned some are usually increased for event weeks but it looks like this one wasn't.

Odd thing is, tripling NC income before and doubling it now (from 50k) didn't cause problems

and 80k is low, you could hit that on non-event weeks if you sold everything with coke on premium (assuming thats overall, but it being per item means they really forgot)

 

I wonder what the cap for stash houses are set at? probably 50 or 60k (you get some extra, so it breaks...), hence why it don't work on pc

not even sure why they set it that low when you can only collect it once per day


and dealers are far from easy to get extra $$$ on.

If anything, I'd say exotic exports would be REAL easy pickings as the game accepts ANY npc car matching the model name

Limit 80K against cheaters? That's funny.

Cheaters have hundreds ways to get a few millions in minute. One way more, one way less - for cheaters this is not critical. But honest players suffered as usual.

It's set at 100k. I am confused as well, but I believe a different bug is causing some players to not receive the money reward.

 

If it was transaction related like Street Dealer cap, you would have received an error message to do with transactions or invalid catalog data.

So, I was just able to sell coke for 80,400$ on PC. I guess Rockstar woke up and fixed the cap?

Yes, yesterday at some point there was a catalog-side fix for it (i.e. what they usually do for event weeks), I'm sure they saw the reports lol. I was about to ask if anyone still had issues as I just went in-game and had it working myself:
