20fps at best on a 20 player session, 10fps once the aircraft carrier business battle comes up, and if I'm speeding down the highway on one of my cars, I have to make a conscious effort to avoid driving by close to the casino because the game freezes hard for a few seconds and once it froze for about 15 seconds.

 

At every 10 to 20 minutes the fps falls down to like 5 for a few seconds before it stabilizes again, and that happens even in invite only.

All of this happens even after I upgraded my storage to a internal SSD. I cannot fathom how much worse it must be with the stock HDD.

Dismissing the garbage that they are doing with this limited time stuff, I think all cars will come back at the end of this dripfeed.

 

Everything will be available at the very end.

What platform? 

 

It was bad on PS4 PRO before I got my PS5 back in 2021, I can only imagine how horrible it is now.

 

I still got an OG PS4 laying around, I'd load up on that platform if Rockstar didn't go full dumb with deleting our characters after the transfer.

Why does everyone hate this chick so much? I kinda like her, both of them. 3x Autoshop missions is a serious moneymaker, I think I gonna abuse it to a degree I never have to do CP heist again.

It’s both the dialogue and the acting. I don’t fault Moody man and even feel kinda bad that his big appearance in GTAO leaves such a sour taste for so many. It’s not just here, the consensus everywhere seems to be that they’re annoying and they feel somewhat forced into a DLC that Hao probably should have been the main contact for.

There's still a few vehicles to release after March 16 unless they release everything at once. I imagine the limited time cars *may* be available later on.

I feel like it would be so easy for them to make a return. Distract Cops to this day is one of the friendliest memories from that era of GTAO. I see no reason for why the Armored Trucks, Aircraft Takedown, Destroy Vehicle Target, aforementioned Distract Cops and Lester Kill Target, didn't make the return yet. Sure they are barebones, and you could argue that there are similar events already, but I see a lot of potential in here...

Slightly going back to what I said, something just hit me. What if the Aircraft Takedown would've used this as the target

Personally I'm still hung up on the fact they got David Mogentale to return as Ron... for a grand total of half a cutscene and the intro phonecall (I've not seen all the Last Dose cutscenes) - was his & Chef's presence really that reliant on Trevor? Because if you haven't seen it, wait until you see the Labrat pineapple cutscene - Dax just randomly turns into Trevor in that scene (not literally, I mean in terms of writing), that was what cinched it for me.

 

So it seems it was true: "Al Bundy" might return and "Barney" got the royal boot!? (29/10/2020)

Maybe originally they probably want it to be Hao and Mimi, but because of the Hao actor being very busy, they decided to scrap it

This is one of the reasons why I tell the community don't get super excited for GTA6. GTA5 has been an amazing game and people want more. Rockstar has its work cut out for it trying to make GTA 6 something new that the community has not seen before. I personally don't think it could happen. I don't think Rockstar is going to top what we saw in GTA5 and that is why I think the game will ultimately flop - just like Red Dead Redemption 2 did! The game could not deliver to its communities borderline delusional expectations! I hope I'm wrong.

Not to start a thing here, but RDR2 was not a flop. Commercially, critically, and most importantly to the average player it was clearly Rockstars most ambitious game yet with possibly the best story they’ve ever told. It has a few flaws but I could count them on one hand that’s missing multiple fingers. It more than proves they can still make a top tier story based game and despite some very senior talent leaving since then, I’m betting they’ll do the same with VI. I’ve had my concerns about this, but Rockstar is such a large institutional at this point, I trust them to be able to pick up that slack. I could be wrong, but I’m not going to stress about it

double helix is 1 lap minimum

 

and you can't use the everon in all of them either.

 

it seems you can only use the everon in the new races.

 

downtown (a map that's on bonus this weeks with more min laps is one of the ones you can't use the everon for)

 

EDIT: Same with chiliad

 

also, it seems the new tracks don't have time of day settings unlike the old tracks...

 

so if you get the everon, you can only use them in 6 of the many hotring circuits and all but 2 of the tracks on bonus this week

I have a PS4 slim. Big problems last year with the textures. FPS mostly drops in lobbies with probably 24+ players, or if someone has laggy/mobile internet, quite nice in invite or 6 players lobby.

There is a place near casino were there is a slight freeze for 1-4 seconds, but mostly it is acceptable.

 

But I also have an external HDD (7200 RPM), and that thing really changed some loading times for big games. It's not like SSD, but still was an improvement to add it.

Very very rarely here thanks to my SSD, but yeah it can still happen sometimes, usually after a freeze.

RDR2 is a much bigger and much more completed game than GTA V could ever hope to be, and you gotta remember that the RDR2 that was released had over half of it's beta content cut short. And it still topples over GTA V.

 

And RDR 2 being a flop is simply, and absolutely NOT true, by all kinds of metrics.

 

I really shouldn't even give this nonsense a response, but it's just so wrong that I had to.

I still can't believe they're doing that crap. That is so low, FOMO crap. I'm so glad I left GTA:O when I did. I don't know if I'd still be into this game at all if I found out I had to consistently pay 2 million for cars like a f*cking Z that disappear after a few days/weeks, along with a puny ass dripfeed that somehow managed to spread into mid-March. Lord have mercy... so trifling.

I think you're getting read dead redemption 2 and it's online counterpart mixed up. Red dead redemption 2 is widely considered to be a masterpiece while the online mode is Limp Dick: The Game.

I still like the game for the most part but you've summed it up perfectly. All of this FOMO nonsense is gonna make me start dabbling in the dark arts to bypass it. If they don't like it, they should stop making bad decisions then. And if they ban me, I don't care. I have 8 other accounts and I love playing through the GTA:O early game anyway.
