Re: Limited time vehicle - considering this isn't too different (other than visually) from the Hotring Sabre I'd say this one isn't as bad as the 300R or the Panthere.

I have it for both characters, I never did crate drops since I couldn’t be bothered to ‘unlock’ them so I have have no idea where these came from. 
 

I haven’t been part of any tournament as well…

Okay, now that whose returning is "officially" public info, I can say what I've been wanting to say about his return despite Story Mode events.

 

I guess LSDW's plot was originally pitched as putting to bed all the fan theories of what Friedlander would think of Trevor by having them go toe-to-toe in an insane a drugs vs pharma storyline. But, due to Ogg's reluctance to reprise his role as Trevor and probably being too far to back out, R* had to come up with Dax and his crew. Which is unfortunate, because it distances the connection LSDW could have had to GTA V by introducing new characters who have zero mutual connection to the antagonist of the story. I saw the reaction in the Last Dose Datamine thread when it was found in the cutscenes who was returning who by all accounts we believed to be dead - turns out just Wasted... just like Tao Cheng if you go for the Gold Medal.

 

Hand's up; had Trevor been our contact and not Dax, would you have been displeased as much you were, or even hyped up about Friedlander returning?

 

Personally I'm still hung up on the fact they got David Mogentale to return as Ron... for a grand total of half a cutscene and the intro phonecall (I've not seen all the Last Dose cutscenes) - was his & Chef's presence really that reliant on Trevor? Because if you haven't seen it, wait until you see the Labrat pineapple cutscene - Dax just randomly turns into Trevor in that scene (not literally, I mean in terms of writing), that was what cinched it for me.

R* please,take all my money,just allow me to kill two people in Last Dose: First is Dax(obviously,I want to put an end to his "Freshmeat" blabbering) and the second is the Fatty Juggalo in green shorts(I am myself a lil chubby but she's ugly fat).My man Mutt and Luchadora can stay.I hope LabRat stays alive at the end of last dose.(Dont want any spoilers now)

I never was more underwhelmed for "new" dripfeed content. It's not that content itself is bad, there are new missions and cars, it's just too little too late for something that is presented as if it's new dlc which we know it's not the case.

 

If all of this or at least all missions and majority of freeroam content was  released on day one or usual timeline of previous dlcs dripfeed, meaning then only some cars would just be streched leftover, it would be way better and much more things to play with, but then they couldn't market one update as way bigger than it really is and retain bigger playerbase by stretching it for 3 months with some empty weeks. They could've at least add 5-6 more cars that would be then released in those nothingburger weeks, but it is what it is...

Ok so Last Dose comes out next week, now the question is will Summer DLC also release on PS4 and Xbox One?

 

Would be nice if Rockstar revealed the future DLC plans going forward.

 

I actually think it will still release on old gen, because dripfeed will overlap with game's 10th Anniversary and then later Halloween Event that they teased in recent interview.

Not as much as it once was, current gen players are becoming the majority.

 

I think we will see updates for last gen all teh way up until the end of this year, if not sooner.

 

Then PC will get the E&E tunables turned on and last gen will be left behind.

 

The quicker we understand this reality, the less it will hurt when it happens.

But still they won't miss an opportunity to make money even if game becomes unplayable. Btw, how's game running on Past Gen currently?

It's almost a given that next dlc Will be on old gen, there are still a Lot of people who cannnot Buy a new gen console (cannot blame them, i cannot afford an rtx graphics Card still) Even with prices getting closer to the msrp.

The thing that worries me is if the scope of the dlc Will be smaller to medium size due to old gen running on 15-20 fps, maybe another qol additions with filler content (contact missions, new races or some dlc theme requested by the community) the other issue is of course E&E for PC...if they don't launch it alone at any given time...Say After last dose or somewhere between April/July we migt have to wait until December if they plan to release E&E on PC after all (i remain optimistic) but the wait might be longer...

For me up until this summer dlc is last chance like i mentioned, releasing it in december update is possible of course, because they don't care if it's too late and if we have to wait for almost 2 years or even more for some old content , but even huffing copium  should have an end.
